Ok, I haven't finished yet, and didn't realize that there were new chapters up. I'd already read this earlier... I just want you to know that you have already made me cry twice. Ugh, when did this all happen? Of course, I love it. It's the best I've ever read. But my heart is so broken right now. And I couldn't wait to finish it for fear it might not end so happy, and I would be crushed.
Also, wow, you've gotten better with each chapter. The writing is SUPERB. I love your detail, just in the scenes where Naruto observes his surroundings... the tv with a basketball game on it, the cat in the street, the woman who walked by in the red dress that looked like she had a rough day. These are what makes your story the best (in my opinion.)
I'm still like, where did these new chapters come from? The interaction between Sasuke and Orochimaru was perfect, of course. That is exactly how I would predict it to be but in, well, an alternate universe. Amazing.
I loved the scene with Jiraiya, as well. Why? Because it was so subtle. And very light and comical. I only wish Tsuande's character maybe reflected closer to the relationship she shares with Naruto in the manga/anime. Yes, she's worried about him, but she still demands some kind of respect in his life.
Not important, BUT the first time you made me cry was that scene in the private school with Orochimaru. I had to walk away from the screen because I was so crushed for Naruto. And then at that very point, even though it wouldn't follow with Naruto's character, to hold out for Sasuke no matter what, no matter the fact that he hurt him, or the fact that he was leaving them behind for his own ambition, he always wanted Sasuke back, knew he was always good (not to say that's accurate about Sasuke's character). But this is the first time I thought to myself, could Naruto forgive what happened in that office? I had to ask myself why would he. To go that far for ambition? Can I compare it to Sasuke leaving in the manga just for power? Are they the same kind of betrayal? Is one worse?
Man, those were the questions I had. And I just finished Ch. 29, so I cried there, too. I even let out a squeal that probably woke up the house. But you are one hell of a writer, and I really appreciate that this story exists. Thank you.

I love this fic from beginning to end! I like the sutable shift in Naruto and Sasuke's relationship. I really have no words to describe that. I bow before your penmanship! This was so good that I had the misfortune of stopping right after Sasuke denied Naruto, so I had a good run at cursing Sasuke's name and his origins until I could get back on and finish reading.
I only had one issue with this story...
There should have been a warning about drinking anything while reading the Winter Hot Chocolate chapter *blush*
Sad to say I nearly died choking on water of all things and trying to laugh. I got a very funny look from my brother, which almost never happens, and caused me to choke even more...sorta like a chain reaction. Anyway great work! I'm looking forward to more fantastic writing^__^

I adore this story so far... so well written! the imagery is very clear and sensual in a nice way. Specially the hot chocolate scene. You had me laughing my ass off at the thought! I can very well imagine Sasuke making fun of Naruto... they are in a different environment but the personalities are so much like them its great to read this! Thank you for a story well crafted! only spelling problem I have found so far was the word choke and stroked ... but that is like a grain of sand... necessary to bring us back to earth... I get aroused just reading this one... and it makes me smile secretly at work... so many good lines!!! Keep up the good work please! Me likes lots!! ^.^

Awe, that was so cute! I was getting a bit worried there at the end..I was afraid it was going to be one of those annoying fics where one of them realizes they love the other after they've disappeared from their life for good (at the train station). I was so relieved when Sasuke was still on the platform! And I love how you slowly had Sasuke's family coming together, even Sasuke and Itachi. Though I think the brothers need to gang up on that lady that was hitting on their dad and threaten her or something. I wonder if Sasuke will ever tell Naruto exactly WHAT he did to get admittance to that school. Hmm, oh well. Another story for another time. Good job, great fic!
