You should die!! No, I'm joking, lol!!! Ok, I have a bad sense of humor... very bad...
Your story is good but (the killing but arrive) there is not enouth on Sasuke, it's like he did not exist anymore, like he is dead...
What I try to say is that in the begining Naruto is depress at a point that he would not even eat, I think he would be like that only if he had killed Sasuke, it's a bit too strong for a simple disapearence but in the other hand Sasuke was Naruto's only true friend, and when Sakura come to visit Naruto before she read the letter The way she is acting : resign, let me think as if Sasuke will never return and so on... (This is my point of view only don't get down on what I write)
But anyway this story is GREAT!!
Ugh I know this sound bizarre after what I write but I really mean it (that it's a great story) because your point of view on Naruto and Sakura reactions about Sasuke defection is strongest than mine and it's also the total opposite!! So I like it!! (Don't ask me why... even I don't know...)

Very well written and a good start for sure. I'm afraid of the pairing though because if it's Sasuke/Sakura I doubt I'll continue reading. I'm an obnoxious purist like that. If it is, I hope you entertain the idea of another story with a Naruto/Sakura pairing. In any case, keep up with the story and writing gethgether. You've got real talent.
