FANTASTIC! You did great with the lemon in the scene. I was right - it didn't seem very forced.
A little bit more buildup of how Sakura was feeling lonely might have made it flow even better.

BTW, I watch the series, and only read the manga up to where I am in the series,
so some of the ideas I think of on my own might actually be in the manga.

For example, I've been thinking of what happened the first time Naruto summoned Gamabunta, and how he saw Kyuubi in his mind.
He interacted with Kyuubi, and I've been thinking... what if, every time Naruto unleashed enormous amounts of Kyuubi's chakra, the seal weakens?
What would happen if it broke completely? Would Kyuubi instantly take over Naruto, or would they battle for dominance, or would they mix together?
This could make for an interesting premise for another fic.

Also, I don't know if you've actually thought out this possibility, but... Sakura is a good medical-nin. Tsunade is awesome...
Kabuto is probably somewhere in between the two of them. Might Kabuto join Akatsuki for this purpose?
Or maybe Akatsuki will threaten to destroy the Sound if Kabuto doesn't cooperate?

They do have a decent amount in common with respect to personality, but...
They're not going to be the most talkative couple in the world. I wouldn't expect many long talks like Hinata & Naruto.
I have nothing against gay couples, but PLEASE!! give a warning before a Yaoi scene.

Temari's in town... is she going to meet up with Shikamaru? I could definitely see the two of them as a couple.
Or did you have Shikamaru with Ino? I don't remember. (It's 2AM...)

Nice chapter. I think you placed Naruto in an Anbu squad totally opposite to his nature and skills.

About the pairings, so far Naruto and Hinata have had some issues to deal with that normal pairings like Sakura and Lee don't. Maybe that's why they're more difficult for you to write.

The language you used when talking about Sasuke being irritated at Sakura for finding his ticklish spot...
Sasuke wants revenge. Again. I don't know if you planned that or not, but either way I think that was pretty ironic.

Awesome chapter, man. Congrats on graduating. /yay for lemons. (I'm a recovering World of Warcraft addict.)

I'm glad to see that Sasuke is starting to feel the desire for someone. I like that you skipped over the ANBU training. It kind of supports the concept of the secrecy of ANBU. Your talk between Naruto and Hiashi also went very well.

I was watching a few past episodes, and I saw Sakura's quick flashback to Sasuke admitting that Naruto saved her from Gaara. Wow. That HAD to hurt him. A lot. To have to admit that he was outdone by someone who was making an absolute fool of himself trying to pull off Chidori...

Anyway, keep it up. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I definintely like where you're going with Akatsuki, and I like the idea of a legendary monster from each village.
If I'm following your thinking correctly, someone is going to be kidnapped, and it ties in to Naruto's fears as they were mentioned while talking to Hiashi.

As for the death threat...you've had a stay of execution. lol

I'm still enjoying this story. I liked that Naruto and Hinata's relationship hit a bump, but it was overcome. It makes it look more real. Real couples do fight everyonce in a while, and plus Hinata is only human, it's only logical that she was lost as to what to do. I'd have liked to know what Kakashi told her.

Just thinking... commenting on the masks. It seems appropriate for Neji to have the bird mask and Lee to have the bear mask.
Of course, there's no frog mask, so that option is out for Naruto. What made you think of the dog mask? Only other one you saw?
or was it something else?
