Yay! You updated. I really like this story; it's one of my favorites, even if it is lacking shonen-ai (which you say would come later). Heck, if this were a completely het fic, I would still love it. XP

*laughs hard* Ahahahaa Sakura totally deserved that!! I don't like Sakura either. She's a pain in the behind. Hmph! Anyway, I'm looking forward to Sasuke working hard. ^.^ Heeeheee. I like the fact that Ino is competition this time, not another guy, or Sakura. It's very new. Love the idea!

I really like this. First of all, I HATE it when authors just jump right into Sasuke/Naruto pairing (unless they write it correctly and use sexual tention manifested in their spars, there's NO WAY to make that pairing plausible out of nowhere. There has to be at least a LITTLE back story.) I'm a huge fan of Sasu/Naru but a lot of people just don't do it right (myself included... I hate admitting that). But it looks like you ACTUALLY have a GOOD idea/plot here!

Using Ino as a catalyst for Sasuke & Naruto's (romantic) relationship is GREAT! YAY for jealousy! Also, I've personally LOVED Ino ever since that episode where they do the flash back and you see chibi Ino helping out Chibi Sakura. I'm always a little peeved by how Sakura treated her. Ino gets a bit of a bad rap. But I must admit that I like Sakura too. It's weird 'cause I went from liking her, to her annoying me, to liking her again... and the cycle kind of repeated ANOTHER time after that too. But I think she does care about Naruto, she just takes him for granted. Which, despite knowing you don't like her much, I think you really portrayed in chapter 3. She was worried that Ino was just jerking Naruto around. (and obviously, she was a tad jealous that Naruto was ignoring her a little.) I REALLY liked that aspect of your story! Kudos!

Sorry about ranting, I just haven't read Naruto fanfics in a while, or rather any GOOD/well written ones. Either they suck entirely, have pretty good plots but crappy writing, or crappy plots with good writing. I almost gave up and just stuck with the 'classics' as Ihave now dubbed them. But you have given me new hope! Bless you.

P.S.
I'm not sure, but I think if someone addresses you without an honorific at all that means they're pretty familiar with you (or, if they're NOT familiar with you AT ALL, then they're disrespecting you.) But -chan might be an even more familiar term... like an enderement. I'm not sure. Actually, I might be COMPLETELY wrong there. But I'm pretty sure that at least in the anime Naruto refers to Hinata as "Hinata-chan".

There are so many Naruto/Sasuke pair fics out there.... and this is one of the rare fics that show Ino in a GOOD way... I personally hope that it becomes Naruto is with Ino not sasuke the traitor.

HAHA! FOr once I liked a fic that shows Sakura in a bad way. Everything Ino said was true. She deserved to be slaped by a handful of flowers.

Well, I read the manga up to chapter 241 so all I can say is that I think only Sasuke and Gaara knows out of everyone else about the Kyuubi. Don't know if that was helpful or not though. Hurry and update the next chapter!
