I am very glad that you've finally updated your story! It had been one I both longed and dreaded.

I know how terrible that sounds, but please let me explain myself. What happens when I find a story like this, filled with angst, fun moments, and the like, is that I tend to get a little obsessed and start getting driven nuts by all the nuances. Sometimes, when I think about what has happened to both Naruto and Sasuke in this story (and all the minor annoyances they had to put up with), I want to cry. Naruto was chained for so long, Sasuke was continually beaten back as he tried to get closer to Naruto, and now he's lost his memory and sight.

Let me reassure you that I adore this story even though it makes me sad, because it explores an aspect of their relationship I don't think other authors really take the time to delve into; how it came to be in the first place. I constantly see "Sasuke thinks Naruto is hot and compels him to jump into the sack with him" and it's refreshing to see Naruto fight back and Sasuke not succeed instantly.

Also, you are doing an excellent job at taking your time with Sasuke-now-Mitani's regaining of his memory. You're not rushing through, making Sasuke constantly dream of a Naruto he sees instead of a Naruto he touches. Well done.

Admittedly, though, I do find one minor flaw with this latest chapter, and that's the lack of characterization from the minor characters. I realize this story is primarily about Naruto and Sasuke, but it seems as though the other people who care for Sasuke don't make much of an appearance in the story. Occasional glimpses into Kakashi and Sakura's minds were great, but they don't seem...as bothered about the loss of memory as they should, considering all that has happened in the last year.

I hope that you get the amount of reviews that you ask for so that the next chapter will be put up soon. I'm a part of your yahoo group (you may recognize my email) and I can't download and read the chapters there because my Mac doesn't have MicrosoftWord.

The long awaited 7th chapter! I almost had a heart attack when I saw it was up, and then I grabbed a drink, barricaded myself in my room, and read the whole story over again....in addition to reading this chapter twice. This fanfic really is a work of art, when I first read it several months ago I wondered why other writers hadn't tried using obnoxious feudal lords in their stories. It was just such an ideal concept, protect the high-ranking personage on an escort mission, then find out he's an ass with a crappy attitude. Add in the whole, oh-and-by-the-way-I'm-going-to-molest-your-attractive-male-teammate, and an over protective Naruto with serious Kyuubi related issues, and you've got an award winning plot just begging to be written. You've done a great job with this, but the long pauses between updates are painful . . .lots of us out here really want to see how this will turn out. Please update sooner rather than later, I've seen so many promising fanfics just stop, with no word from the author as to why they stopped, or even if they DID quit or are just taking a REALLY long time to update. Please don't let that happen here.

oh my god!!!! I absolutely love your writing, even though it's a bit confusing sometimes when you change the POV. But poor Sasuke! All the scars...blind...no more rooster tail!!! You have to get the next chapter up soon!

I started reading this story abt a week ago and i really loved it (you had me crying in my local internet cafe, and boy was that not pretty!) and when i saw that it had been a while since your last update i got so sad because i thought that you had abandoned this trully wonderful story T_T. thank you so much for keeping it going. this is a tale that i would ove to here the ending to. here, you deserve roses @---^---- x12

Oh My GOd! this fic is amazing I so called that being Sasuke! oh my GOd you have to keep going. Sasuke has to remember Naruto! give them a break the poor boys I hate it when a character gets amnesia cause I am alsways on the edge of my seat saying "rememebr damn it remember!" over and over again! Aaaaaahhh please hurry this fic is amazing and and and... OMG!!!!! I actually took a hiatus from the episodes that I have on my computer to read this fic you can't leave me hangind! Once Sasuke is beeter memory eyesight hair everything and him and Naruto are back enjoying their lives with the ones they love they better get that bastard Junichiro!!!!! I say give him Hell. ok I am going to calm down now, I was literally bouncing in my chair. I must admit though Junichiro's character the perfect antagonist he really gets my blood boiling! and that is how you know you did good. I also loved how you kept them in character! It is very believable how they got together I mean everytime I went back to the series I was confused because the images and situations that you portrayed were so believable. So PLEASE I beg you hurry with an update I can't wait to see how the story turns out! My NaruSasu needs to be whole and happy again! Also revenge is needed for that damn rat bastard Junichiro! ( ALso love how you did Kyuubi! ^_~)

I love all your stories!!! But dang it, can the boys get a break? If it isn't that damn fox demon then I'ts that stupid noble. Ja! Grr. And thanks, now my family thinks I'm crazy for yelling or laughing at the computer screen. lol You two are the best keep up the good work.

omgosh, this story is awsome. i normally don't go for narotu fics but this one really pulled me in. i love how you protray the characters, it's very realistic especially how you protray narotu him self.
