Just found this story and I'm liking it ;) Not a fan of the series, just popping in when I feel like it. And occasionally I find jewels that I'll be coming back to read again and again. This is one of those ones :D
I love the way you write, how the plot all twists and turns, flows together and still makes sense from one chapter to another because there's continuity. The charm of this fic is definately on the flashbacks and the structure of this story. It's so different and mysterious, leaving the reader to yearn more.
But the feeling is heavy and serious and dark, like a blanket of midnight that decends upon you without the knowledge of the following multi-coloured dawn. These kinds of fics always affect me, leaving my own mood dark and serious, so I don't generally like to read them if there's no happy ending in sight. But strangely I'm loving this feeling with you. Because I can identify to the feeling of being surrounded by strangers, of people you knew long ago, and feeling alone and disconnected because all you can see is the distance between. You described it perfectly.
Not much else to say. I'm loving this, and I hope reality treats you kindly and that you'll keep writing!

Great story so far, I really do hope you continue. I am curious about the connection between mercy and Tsugi. While I am losing interest in the original (I mean come on, who isn't tired a stupid Naruto?), I do still like a good story so I repeat... please continue.

This story is a little confusing but I think I have somewhat of an understanding. This story is somewhat original and somewhat cliche. I totally saw Tsgni or whatever his name was for what he is the second chapter he was in. But I also am a little more observant than a lot of readers. Or so I'm told. Anyhoo, I hope to see an update soon.
