Hoo. Just finished the whole thing in two long sittings. Absolutely brilliant. To be honest, this is the first AU-ish fic I've actually found myself interested in-- it's extremely well done, and surprisingly IC {granted, there are times in which I find the characters somewhat OOC, but it's believable under the circumstances, and probably IC enough considering the AU-ness... if that makes sense}.

Although I'm normally not a big fan of Naruto {the character, that is}, I especially love his portrayal in this, how he seems to be basically a dumb jock on the surface, but is so much more complicated and intelligent once we gain some insight into his thoughts. I really liked the bit about his journal, and the first chapters from his perspective. Very nicely done.

And Neji and Sasuke's constant feud is always entertaining. I really enjoyed the chapters about Neji and Gaara's background; made me almost feel sorry for them to realize that {based on the NaruSasu description of the story} they won't be getting what they really want, despite what they've gone through and their connections to Naruto. Though with TenTen in the picture, it looks like Neji might have a happy ending nonetheless.

Gaara doesn't seem quite right to me, for some reason. The scenes with him and Naruto just feel unrealistic to me. I'm not really sure how to explain it. Gaara seems so auxiliary overall, and doesn't seem to contribute anything significant beyond displaying his role in this particular universe. And despite his background, I'm compelled to feel less attachment toward him in general somehow {although personally I like it better when stories revolve around fewer central characters, than if they revolve around a larger number-- gives more opportunity to more deeply develop those few characters, rather than just slightly or unevenly developing many characters}. I guess he just feels like an annoyance.

Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to further developments and am off now to explore the rest of your writings.

Hooray! It only took me like a week and a half to do it, but I finally read all 19 chapters! (my schedule can prolly rival yours when it comes to being busy with school, work, etc.)

WELL! I must say, this story has become my favorite in the Naruto fandom. I love the way Sasuke gets jealous, and yet his patience for Naruto is astounding. I'm suprised he hasn't stormed off on Naruto yet for some of the blunders the blonde has been caught in. I like how you've made Naruto. Big heart, scheming brain, drop-dead-gorgeous. I feel kind of bad for Neji and Gaara, cuz they both have really good reasons to want to be with Naruto. I can see the potential love interest for Neji with someone else, but now I'm worried about Gaara.

Oh! So far, you've shown us how Naruto 'saved' both Gaara and Neji. Will we get a chance to see how he saved Sasuke as well?

Lessee....(tries to remember other comments)...(fails to remember)...well, you've done such an awesome job with this story. I absolutely love the long chapters and the building tension between Naruto and Sasuke. I'm glad you haven't had both of them completely snap and pounce all over each other jest yet. Keep up the totally awesome work!!

Oh God I love this story..... i just read the entire thing in one day..... kinda sad i did cause now i'm dieing for the next...... when i go to my friends tomorrw i'm definatley not gunna let her sleep till she reads this...... so in closing, I LOVE this story, PLEASE UPDATE........ i don't say soon because some authors hate that, besides i'll be just as happy no matter when you update..... as long as it doesnt take more than 3 months..... i had a favorite story that was long and really good and the author just stoped writin, and i know they didn't die cause they're still writin storys..... it's almost been a year now.... there was one story i liked a long time ago that still hasn't updated, that's about 2 years now.... now that i think about it, rarely any of my favorite stories are finished.... i think i'm gunna go give them my 2 cents..... man i really need to stop writing reviews when i'm dead tired and filled with caffine..... i'd tell you my life story in a review if i had the patients to do so..... i guess i better stop it here then.... sory for rambling

Aha! I love this ficcy! You do such a good job portraying everyone even though they're in a completely different place! I can't wait for the next update! But damn, I wish something would happen more so between Naruto and one of them ;_;...

This may be the absolute BEST fanfic, I've ever read! and I'm being totally honest. *still in awe* I know that you wanted some suggestions and stuff.... but i really can't think of anything. I'm not sure if thats because the story is just right as it is, or if its because my brain is still mush and I can't think straight.... both are likely. Anyways, I better finish before I'm completely incoherent with drool.... Please update!
