Hey, you're alive!

::happiness:: You updated! As sad as it might seem, this really made my day. (And it has really sucked so far, so I did need something to cheer me up.) I've miss this story so much... for some reason, the quality of Sasunaru fics have been lacking in the past few months. This is really one of the few current ones that I consider worth reading. I don't have much to say about this chapter... there wasn't really much interaction between Sasuke and Naruto, really. I did like the fact that Naruto got jealous, though. It always seems like Sasuke's the one getting jealous or making an idiot of himself in this story, so it's nice to see it the other way around for a change. Despite that, though, I do like that Naruto is very different than in this story than he is usually portrayed in fanfiction. I'm used to seeing him being described as the smaller, more "delicate" one... I guess because most people figure if anything, he would have to be the "girl" in the relationship. (I really hate it when people assign roles like that in homosexual relationships, by the way. It is possible for both women to be feminine or both men to be masculine. One doesn't necessarily have to be moreso than the other.) That completely opposes my own view of Naruto, because from what I have seen of his character in the series, he is everything but feminine or delicate. He's surprisingly innocent at times, but I think some fanfics get carried away with that, as well. Innocent doesn't mean he's entirely naive. Well... anyway, I'm rambling. What I'm trying to say is that I like your characterization of Naruto (even if it isn't entirely accurate, either).

So... I think that's all I have to say for this review. I am looking forward to the next chapter~!

Wowies, this is a really good fic! I'm sad that you're not gonna be updating for a while :(

I don't know what to put about how to help you improve or whatever, because I think you're writing style is really good. I didn't even notice any grammar mistakes either!

Huzzah! I finally found my way back to your uberly wonderful fic! *dances around stupidly* You have done such a wonderful job with the characters(especially Gaara). And thank you for not making Naruto into a completely clueless character. (Like, oh my gosh! *nasally valley girl accent*) Keep up the wonderful job!

I know you wanted constructive critisism in a review, but for now I don't think my tired brain can come up with it. So, for now I will spout it was 'cute and I want you to update soon!'. don't worry if you really want it I'll look for something in the future.

You asked for reviews, and although I've been lurking and reading this story for awhile, I haven't reviewed. Partially because I'm a lazy bum. So I apologize, because you deserve a good review. First of all, I'd like to say thanks for providing some decent reading. Your writing is incredibly witty and amusing. My favorite part so far was "in a doujinshi somewhere, a chibi-Gaara was flashing a victory sign..." heh. And I love how you jab in little things like "cue dramatic music."

Let's see...what can I say...as for improving, I would just say read books. Your writing can only get better from here on out.

Seriously, I'm more of a sasunaru fan, but your fic has made me change my mind. I love your take on Naruto, how outgoing he is, how refreshingly not stupid he is. I've seen a lot of fanfics that have made him utterly dumb in the not so dense way, completely overriding the fact that he does have his own type of smarts. I'm not saying they're wrong on his take, but it's just so awesome to see this kind of take on him. Because as dense and oblivious as he is, he does know how to pick up on things [take that episode with Inari]. Thing is, I can't choose a favorite chapter because all of them rank high on my 'must read' list. Especially since most of the time, reading AU's, I've seen a lot of people break the OOC rule and ruin it. But even though you do push at it, you don't ruin it. You make it work for the story, the setting, and that's something I give you major props for. And by the way, I loved the little mention of Sasuke's past with the pendant; the little in depth part where it explained how he used to be before Naruto came in like a whirlwind and began to change him. Your fic is very well-written and it easily draws me into the story, the way the characters work, and makes me notice the little things. Like pieces of humor with Chibi Doujinshi Gaara. I honestly cannot find a fault in your story. If I searched for little grammatical errors or misspellings, I might find them, but those are things you can change and fix so I don't judge a story based on them. [unless it's like totally blatant] Seriously, I can't wait till August for another chapter. I'm literally checking everyday 'just in case'. <3

Now, to the fic I somehow really loved the comments the horses made X3;; Your humor rocks my boat, heh, and the insight you provide for each character is amazingly well thought out and rounded.
