I rather liked this,I could see Naruto doing something like this to keep Sasuke with him
would you consider writing more perhaps Sasuke's point of view maybe if he has doubts about Naruto's motives

yes, I'm one of those die hard SasuNaru fans... but I really liked this story. I liked the alternative angle to their relationship that you took. It gave Naruto some more depth in my opinion. ^_^ Nice going. I don't think I'll be the only one to say this either...

I normally don't review stories on AFF.net, but this one caught my eye for many reasons. One, I was reading the mini debates that were popping up in your reviews, and I had to throw my two cents in. I personally think Sasuke would either be homosexual or asexual due to his lack of interest in anyone. Then again, it's perfectly possible that he's straight, too, and he just doesn't like any of the girls he knows so far (or he's just not interested in that yet due to the whole obsession with wanting to kill Itachi). For Naruto, I think he wouldn't be bisexual so much as he seems like a person who would be attracted to someone because he *likes* them. I don't think he'd really take gender into account, at least not when he's older anyway. That's just my personal take on it though.

As for your story, I will say I do like the idea for it. It's very possible that a relationship between Naruto and Sasuke could end up like that. It's sad to think of, no doubt, but looking at Naruto and Sasuke's relationship as it is now, it's bound for a good deal of angst if they ever were to get together. In this sense, I really did like your take on their relationship. Now for the constructive critism.

Certainly, the drabble works as it is written at the current moment of time, but if you read it again, you can understand where I'm coming from when I say it definetly be polished up a bit. You have a solid idea, good delivery, and a realistic writing style. Now, if you worked on expanding some of the sections a bit more, fleshing out Naruto's personal emotions and reflection on the situation, would do the story wonders. It would turn this good drabble into an amazing one shot. I was going to suggest you try writing this from Naruto's point of view, but looking it over again, I like the way it's in the third person. It just suits the story better.

Another thing I noticed you might want to claraify or expand is Naruto's emotional attachment to Sasuke. Is he doing this because he actually loves him, or is he doing it as a favor as a friend? Because on one hand, Naruto does indeed love Sasuke and probably just doesn't have a great physical attraction to him, which probably wouldn't be as uncommon as one might think. On the other hand, Naruto doesn't see Sasuke as anything more than a friend and is just leading him on. Both of them show a very different view on how Naruto and Sasuke's relationship could be, and it honestly makes all the difference, especially where the angst is concerned.

This review ended up being a lot longer than I thought it would be, lol.

Anyway, I hoped that helped you a bit, but I did want to let you know that I liked this and found it interesting. Good drabble. =]

Actually I like this. I am a die hard sasu/naru fan but this was well written and obviously well thought out. It considers the high possibility that naruto is not gay but still does love sasuke...just not 'in' love, but anyhoo, this was pretty good. Keep up the good work.

This was a very cool idea. There are so many fictions on here where both the partners are in love or it is rape. Very nicely done.

you know I've been reading naruto fics for a while now and this is the first time i've come acorss one where naruto is giving himself to sasuke in order to keep him near. I loved it. It was short, but you said so much and gave so much depth. I must learn to do that. Anyway, I am a narusasu fan myself, but i really enjoyed this.
