Karikara, this is the most refreshing bit of writing I've read in the entire world of fanfiction in a long time. The character development is true to the series, yet imaginative and deeply insightful. The pacing is delectable. The scenario and plot so far have been wonderfully new, and your writing style, the choice of words, the flow of them, is light and easy yet has just enough quirkiness to keep sparking the little lover of words inside me. I am so pleases that I have found you here. I am wondering if this is your only work so far? Also, though I have not betaed anyone's work in a very long time, I am a notoriously scrupulous beta reader, and just because I like this story so much, I have already beta read all three chapters for typos. stellar characterization and allowing for time letting them grow from children into young adults, you do a great job keeping them in character.
I find the way you give the readers insight into each character's reactions and emotions towards the other, the audience gets to partake in the thirll of discovery along with them.

I can't wait to read the rest. It is a rather original pairing to say the least, but the way you've handled the setup and development
not only does it seem plausible, but likely that these two would work well as a couple.

Now hurry up and give us more :-P !

I can only praise you and praise you for such a good and deep portrayal of the characters.

I liked this very much. The way you portrayed Hinata's empathy was very nice. I myself believe Hinata does have the potential to be the best at simply reading people BECAUSE of her empathy, while the rest of the clan has such powerful control and properness it causes them to lose a few things. ::claps:: I enjoyed the characterization of Gaara as well. I will be waiting to see where you take this.

I really liked this a lot. I think Gaara's confusion is perfect, and Hinata is just so sweet. I was a little put off by how at ease she seemed, but I must say that I like this Hinata a lot better than the shy one. My only note is that Gaara's brother is Kankurou...hehe, the spelling was a little off. Anyway, keep up the good work. The way you portray Gaara, I can totally see it. Haha, and I thought it was hilarious how he decided he was going to fight her after she told him love is like a fight. It was so cute. I think you're doing a great job so update soon!

hmmm, an interesting beginning. so far, i'm really enjoying the interaction between Gaara & Hinata, like when she got him to introduce himself despite the obvious. so since Hinata is free to leave Kohona, is she going to traveling deeper into the Sand with q certain red-head? lol, we can only hope, i suppose :D
