I dont mean to flame and i can even get what made you write this as i too own all the books in he dark series though i personally prefer sherrilyn kenyon's dark hunter series more.
the thing is though christine is very pickyabout her stories. as iyts ongoing and she's trying to introduce new authors, so sshe has extressed disapproval of thosewho write fanfiction about her. honestly, even if you had tht note at the top if she ever found out about this she could withn her legal rights sue aff on the grounds of plagarism which is a major offence internationally andalso onm the grounds of disrespecting her wishes which is vry well known.
aff cannot police all stories but they would be liable not you so please think about it next time.

Editorial Reviews
From Publishers Weekly
In the 12th installment in Feehan's paranormal Dark series (Dark Symphony, etc.), she again creates a richly evocative fantasy world in which immortal Carpathian males search for their "lifemates" and battle soulless vampires. When young telepathic widow Corinne Wentworth walks into the bar where Carpathian Dayan, of the legendary band the Dark Troubadours, is playing, he immediately recognizes her as his lifemate ("He heard the soft murmur of her voice, and at once his world changed"). Difficulties lie ahead for the couple, not the least of which is that the men who murdered her husband are hunting her and her sister-in-law, Lisa. Corinne's weak heart is also a major source of conflict. The question of whether it will be strong enough to withstand her transformation from human to Carpathian may leave readers with real doubts as to whether a happy ending is in store for this well-matched pair. Though Corinne's delicate condition forces Dayan to treat her with extreme care, their love scenes still sizzle. Feehan's prose is occasionally melodramatic and her descriptions cliched ("Dayan resembled a sculpture of a Greek god"), but this may be her most emotionally engaging installment to date.

Your doing fine please don't listen to the flamers there just sore asses about everything. There are a few grammar mistakes that can be fixed but that is okay. It is also okay to use things as an outline which you did and the flamers are not reading well because you set it up to be different circumstances than dark meoldy with a few different twist. Please don't stop just becasue of them. I eargly await your next update. You can use my email to have some one beta for you if you want. I will try to check it often.
Sincerely a big fan,
