Looks good, there are a few places where the spelling slipped a bit, but it's okay. Also, chapter four seems to be written a bit confusingly. That might just have been me, though.

It's not that I don't hate Sakura. Well in the beggining of the Volume 1 of Naruto, She was so mean to naruto saying that he didn't have parents and all that. Makes me mad, but as the story progress her character changed and mature kind of. She's okay I guess. I luv Hinata more cause she have a huge crush on Naruto, but Naruto have a crush on Sakura, which she have a crush on Sasuke. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

AH! Nice chapter! Poor Naruto! All tortured and such. At least it's in a way that's suited to his character though. His soft spot for Sasuke is obvious in canon, and Itachi has used Sasuke's image to torture him before. (Ita! YAY!) Well, I can't wait to see how this is going to come into play later in the story, and I really can't wait to see team seven back together again! NYA! Thanks again for letting me know about the updat! I'm assuming Sakura was healed before Naruto woke up, which would explain her being up and about. That's the only way it would make sense. Liked the "bare bottom" scene - the humor was very in sync with Naruto. As for Naruto's torture scene.... hmm, could it be a delayed type of torment Itachi had inflicted on him? Like if he realized he couldn't torture Naruto right then and there, maybe he's developed his Sharingan to trigger it on an off moment, Sasuke's name being the trigger. But he did torture him beforehand but as you can see, it didn't break him. Maybe he planned two sessions to do the trick. Blech, all this speculation makes my head hurt. I'm probably wrong. Hope Naruto wakes up....or not, making Sakura the hero of the story, lol. That'd be a nice switch... her having to save him for a change. Interesting that she has not mentioned her encounter with Sasuke. Does she want to keep it to herself? Honestly nothing would change if she mentioned it since it's too late to know where he is. It would be perfectly like Sakura to not say anything honestly.... as the anime has shown, her heart's loyalty is to Sasuke. Up until it was necessary for Naruto to know, she kept her mouth shut about the Cursed Seal. I know many fans hate her for mooning over the dumb bastard and being "useless" I don't see her that way. She reminds of Azmaria from Chrono Crusade.... seemingly useless until you realize what her true purpose was in the end: to carry the torch for her comrades. Because she was with them and shared such a profound friendship she became stronger for it; that these people were important enough to change one person's life. Sorry, went off on a tangent there. Oh and speaking of symbolism according to a Japanese story about the slug, the frog and the snake, the snake is stronger than the frog, the slug is stronger than the snake and the frog is stronger than the slug. This parallel fits perfectly. When you think about it, Sakura is mentally a lot stronger than Sasuke. She's got that steel clad interior not even Orochimaru could manipulate.

Anyway.... been waiting for this chapter forever. Your story is addictive as hell and still possessing of a different flavor than the other Naruto fics. Or maybe it's because I've read so much Naruto porn that my brain overloaded! LOL. Gah, I've blathered too much. Looking forward to the next installment as usual.

We see eye to eye on Sasuke's treatment and motivation.Cool.I am glad he gets something from Orochimaru,it makes sence doesn't it that they would have similar capacities.I am really getting into this fic.No matter what however I believe Sakura is just not emotionally solid enough foe Sasuke.She was/is a bully,cruel to those she considers beneth her,even Sasuke doesn't do that.She just seems shallow and it takes so long for her to wake up to facts but then she doesn't use them.I hate that this is the way she was written but its true. She is obbsessiveyet does nothing with it which is paculiar because she has examples, good examples in Naruto and sasuke when it comes to getting strong for your goalShe uses a weaklings moves emotional abuse,peer presure,god she can't even be trusted,she turned on Ino after Ino helped her and over some guy?She is trash for that at the very least.She is in the story however and I see you have to use her so this is my take on her not a citicism on your fic ,eh?So I am caught up in your fic,what about Naruto and Naruto?Itachi has Naruto right?!

Heh! That was a nice little battle you had there! Love the way you unabashedly destroyed a very popular character so early in the story! I'm talking abour Kisame btw...hee hee...Death and destruction. Always fun! About the Hokage thing, i can't really remember too clearly what i was talking about, but i think i might have just misread something, maybe i thought i saw Hokage used as a plural or something. Ah well...on to better things. This chapter was good! I liked the new take on the Infamous "Sasuke leaves the village" scene. Very true to what a normal boy might be feeling under those circumstances. Bravo! Things are looking like they might be getting pretty interesting very soon. The mention of Itachi and Naruto peaks my interest. Was that meant to imply that the two are off somewhere fighting at that point? That would be nice. I just love drama.
OH! was that the two powers he sensed? HEE HEE! I CAN ADD! maybe... In any case, I'll be waiting to find out!

Now THIS is getting interesting! New words of praise will need to be invented to describe the originality of this engrossing piece of work. I said it once and I'll say it again, I love your characterization of Sasuke so much. As a verteran reader of SasuSaku too often people have overplayed Sasuke's angst to the point of ridiculousness. No human being is that emotionally cut off or not have a capacity to change in some manner. Most fics have him all consumed on his quest for revenge, which is probably about half true. But man the guy's got to think of other things once in a while....his thinking about a girl would be for him a pleasent reprieve from a life on the run. Your theories into what Sasuke might have been feeling and thinking during his goodbye with Sakura (that scene was hard to watch simply on grounds that Sakura's voice actress was such a damn good crier!) were close to what I was thinking of what he was thinking. Gah, that's a tongue twister. I always liked to think his saying "You really ARE annoying" was his way of showing affection, not that poor Sakura could understand. Overall I have to say this is the most realistic in the vein of the canon, more believeable than a lot of the other scenerios I've read. Happy writing.
