The story has a nice atmosphere, sad, it's this feeling that makes me think ur FF is really good.
that dark thing gripping ur heart and making u feel the same numbness, the same pain....
it's kind of.... the feeling of being understood.
I'm not that good with words, but I hope u understood what I wanted to say...

Yikes! This was a depressing story. I guess I should've read the attempted suicide part more carefully. ^_^; I really enjoyed the storyline so far, and this is definitely more believable than the Naruto and Iruka one. I like how you wrote the characters in this, and I really enjoyed the descriptive style of writing. I hope greatly that you will continue and write another chapter to this and that Iruka will survive his attempted suicide, but I'll read it regardless of the ending.

A great beginning, I want to see it continued! And please don't kill my dear dolphin, the story just isnt rich enough without major post-trauma angst and UuberRegretful!Kakashi.

I don't think Iruka dying would be mean enough to Kakashi. Iruka should live and fall in love with someone else, making Kakashi watch. Yeah I'm vindictive, so sue me. Anyway Good job on the descriptions, I really liked it. You can leave it there, but if you want to leave it a one shot I think you might want to tinker with the ending. To me it just doesn't feel finished. Maybe like adding a funeral, or even a line about how Kakashi would forever regret what he said in is attempt to protect his heart or blah blah blah, something to wrap it up. As it is now it feels like there needs to be more, to me atleast. Anyway, goodluck, Ciao!

That was good. I'd be interested in seeing why Kakashi said what he said - he never seemed like a heartless guy.
