I've just read this story and although it was brilliant and I did enjoy reading it throughout the way, I am a little disapointed. I had hoped, after all of the graphic rape scenes that you would appease the readers with a consensual sex scene between the mains. I'm not saying your story wasn't good. It was good. I was quite intrigued by it and read the whole thing through, despite the fact that I tend to avoid stories involving rape. I honestly would not have started reading your story had I been aware there was any rape in it. But being dutifully hooked by the time that came about (yes that was very early in the story) and not getting to any graphic details I was happy to continue reading. I did skim past the rape scenes (very difficult in that shower scene) as quickly as I could and continued to read despite my dislike of the subject. You treated it well and despite a few moments (Shino's dad telling them that they'd never be able to press any charges) which I found absolutly beyond belief (which you settled with that wonderful law jargon later) I loved this story.

Abject missery does not often sit well with me, either, but the building of a realistic realtionship in the midst of the tragedy was well worth my time and entranced me. Now I'm fully aware that Sasu and Naru couldn't just jump in the sack after that whole lot of stuff... that would have been distasteful considering the quality of the rest of the story... but I would have loved and I mean absolutly loved if you had an epilogue or something set a long while later. Not for the smut value of a good sex scene... or even a half decent one. But... erg I can't phrase it. It just would have been good. Especially since you put so much effort into explaining the bad things, a nice things scene. Full of hugs and kisses and whatever, would ahve been the pinicle of a great story.

I still like the story, but I leave it feeling not as happy as I wish I could. Thank you veyr much for writting such a great story and I apologise if you take offense from anything I have written. I also apologise for the horrible spelling / gramma / all other forms of English structure that I am failing to ues in this review.

On a final note. I do love, beyond explenation the conclussion behind Itachi. The plot bunnies for that where very very rare and highly worth clinging to.

You are an amazing writer. this story kept me glued from 11:30 pm to 1:42 am. I loved how is was lead to believe it was orginally Itachi in the rape videos but lead to be Fugaku. This AU story has got to have been one of the best I've read. I usually prefure to keep to the whole we're-ninja-people thing but this was great. Great story. I wish it almost didn't end but then I'd have to wait for more so it's a mixed feeling. I aplaude (sp?) you on your story. It was a fabulous read.

OMG!!! Where did you learn to write like that! I was draw into the story that when I read it, which was on the 4th of July, I didn't bother to leave my home to see fireworks!!!! I would have cried so hard at Nauto's predicement if i wasn't so emotionally screwed up but when Naruto stopped breathing for that instance I went in to shock along with Sasuke. Holy crap! I was ready to curse your good screenname lol *blush* The ending I have saw coming because my mind bends that way some times but when Sasuke put the gun to his head and fired I was ready to curse your name, again *blush, cough, cough...* All and all that was a well written, eye catching, horribly tragic story and I enjoyed it to the fullest. Just this morning I saw it again and I told myself i was just going to read the first page. Next thing I knew i was reading it again even though I knew what was going to happen!

Holy shit. That was a good fic. I'm in awe. You're good at writing. The characters were believable. The twist at the end with Itachi and Fugaku was amazing, too. I'm feeling really disturbed by this and kinda half-wish I didn't read it. But it's rare to find this calibre of fic and I was assured of a happy ending. Great fic. I'm going to have to read a million well-written fluff fics now.

And here I was thinking that only Harry Potter had long, well-written mindfucks like this. Of course, I don't really go looking for them. They just happen. I think I have some mental scarring now from the angst.

Really, really, good fic. Amazing. It was really heart-wrenching. I better stop now before I repeat myself any more.

Ok. I better go find some fluff fics and maybe watch a few filler episodes. That'll make me happy again, right?

Good, I like the progression of the story. Some times you confuse 'than' and 'then' they are not interchangable.

Good job, but remember you want to use the word SHUDDER.
