I got a mention! Wow, thank you... I feel special now. I'm glad that my Naruto can make you laugh. I wish I could think of a proper way to thank you, but I'm half asleep and stalling before going to my Civ. class. Maybe I'll review again later. ^^;

And I don't know why you were worried about the sex scene in this chapter, I thought it was perfect! Naruto thinking of poker hands so that he wouldn't end things too early had me giggling. I absolutely loved that part, and Sasuke asking him afterward if he was saying "straight" while they were having sex. It was just too perfect.

I've been looking forward to the meeting at the YMCA for a while, and I'm glad to see it's finally here. Jiraiya is great, and the interaction between Naruto and Tsunade was right on the mark. I think that, considering the relationship that the two have in the manga, having Tsunade in his life could be almost as good for Naruto as having Sasuke. She seems to have a sort of motherly or sisterly affection for Naruto, and I think he could use that in this fic. I really hope that he takes her up on her offer of a job.

It was great to see that you had managed to include Zabuza as well, and the way that you did so just makes... perfect sense. Gatou running a casino is believable, and I liked the way he reacted to Sasuke's name. I'm hoping that maybe we'll see a little of Haku, as well (^^; Sorry, I'm a Zabuza/Haku whore).

Finally, I just HAVE to tell you how surprised and happy I was to see that you made Naruto the "seme" for Sasuke and Naruto's first sexual experience together. It was incredibly considerate for Sasuke to do that, and I think it was definitely the right thing to do in the situation. With Naruto's past, he could have easily fallen into the traditional "uke" role (which is something that I don't usually like, since, from what I know, most gay couples tend to switch roles regularly), but you didn't do that, and I'm glad. I think most writers WOULD have done that, but you did what was probably the best thing for Naruto.

One more thing before I leave you alone, THANK YOU for including Shikamaru! He is my absolute favorite character, and I'm sure you'll do his personality justice. I can't wait to (hopefully) see him in future chapters!

Is that the only quite you've used from Charmed? I read something earlier in the story and it sounded like it was from Charmed for some reason. Are you the same Tatem who writes Charmed fanfics on TCO?

You are an awesome writer. I thought this was going to sound like "Spiral Falling" (i think that's what i read in someone else's review) but yours is a story so much more optimistic! (well...in a way...^^ - it gives me hope anyway - which i adore you for.) Please write much much more and continue on with the great work!

I don't think i've ever liked sasuke's character as much as i do in this story, or pitied naruto's.
Sorry i can't really give constructive criticism...
