This is amazing. :) I read it for the first time a while back... I still love it. (I also lived Ripple Effect... dunno if you remember me... I think my review for that said something about it being a story that got me sooo emotionally involved that it felt like my insides were being ripped out? And then asked permission to forget the epilogue existed? Lols.) Being an idiot who is unable to really read subtext, a few things hinted about Sasuke's life passed right over my head (I couldn't really work out exactly who he was working for when) (and was the tattoo on his wrist black and sinister-ly comma-like?)
Ah... anyway. :) Great story, and... do you plan to continue this??? :)

Oh it's wonderful. So, so wonderful. It's such an absorbing story and I really felt Kakashi's character was captured so well. I love it how you get just enough background information from the characters that you think you know what is going on, and where they're coming from, but not quite. It's a really masterfully written story. I give you my eBay rating of A++++

Argg! I've read it twice and i still can't get it outta my head! Its the Best I've EVER read. Seriously. And i think its just because of how much you left to the imagination. Gave it so many more possibilities than the norm. ^-^ thank you for giving me something to think about while in math class.

This was an enjoyable, intense story. I particularly like the ending of the second part. I'd love to read more.

Excellent story, writing. I definitely hope that you keep it up. I also enjoyed reading your story 'Ripple Effect'-- your characters are surprisingly in-character for the types of stories you write.

I've read this a couple of times (linked from Sennen Goroshi) and it's still awesome, everytime I reread it. This is the best AU featuring these two that I've managed to come across. You hit all the perfect points of each character, and manage to seamlessly shift them from being academy ninja in a village to... "normal" people in a city. I feel like I should be saying more, but I can't really work it out on the screen. Suffice it to say that I adore this fic and I'm so glad you shared it.

I must say I was very surprised when I noticed the update on Stray. I read the first part a while ago, almost immediately after it was posted and frankly I didn't dare hope for a sequel. Usually the best stories doen't have one. But I am glad you decided to go further into the twisted releationship Kakashi and Sasuke started. For an AU it blends perfectly with both characters and makes them even more real. This is one of the rarest pairings and hard to find, not to mention to find any GOOD stories about KakashixSasuke. Yours is brilliant and I now I do hope you continue on...The plot is perfect and it manages to show the actuall attachment of Sasuke to his friends, tho I wonder how will be portrayed his need for Kakashi. Based on the aloofness of both characters Sasuke shows an almost obsession towards the older man which I like very much. I'd assume that he's being "faithfull" to Kakashi (if such thing can exist) because that will be most in-Sasuke characterisation... but enough of my rattling... I hope you update as soon as the new part is done

I really wish I was able to give you a nice, long review, so that you may know how much I love your story. But the truth is, I'm lost for words.
I found it by accident, I don't really like a typical yaoi, so I hardly ever start reading when I see the story contains such (unless someone I trust recommends one). There are exceptions however, because I am not against it either, and I definitely like a good drama. And there are some stories about love that cannot be told properly with a man and a woman. Yours is one of them, I believe.
So, I've found it yesterday late at night. And I had to stay up till I finished reading. Which was seriously late, and the lack of sleep makes this review even worse >.>
I don't know how to describe it. I love your original story, and yet I also love the way you showed the interactions/relations and most of all, feeling that are present in naruto. If the manga was more like "Stray", it would be simply too cool to read >.<
I thank you very much for writing, and I really hope to see the rest of it. One of the best stories I've read in my life.
