I know that this was funny and all, but it made a small part of me sad. Knowing the history you wrote for Kakashi, watching him go through these experiences just tugs at my heart. I'm so glad that Iruka forgave him. He deserves another chance. This story is just so beautiful - thank you for writing it! I can't wait to read the next chapters.

Review of chapters 1-14:

Yep decided to sit down and read this all in one sitting...totally worth it. Too bad I have to wait for updating now though. *pouts* :)
I really like this story, very good characterization. Everyone stays in character throughtout the story. I liked how you interpeted Kakashi's demenor, not cool, but just a scared little boy who doesn't know what to say or do.
This is a-fillied with angst....yay! I really really like the back story to Iruka and Kakashi. Poor Kakashi :(:(
I cannot wait to see more backstory and progression with Kakashi and Iruka. :) Can't wait for an update!!

This chapter was actually... really cute. I liked the interaction between all of the characters, and their toast to fallen comrades at one point. It seemed realistic, that in having a get together and reminiscing, old friends that are now gone would inevitably come up. And their toast seemed like maybe something they'd done before, which was also realistic for... well... people in their line of work. Loved it, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

DUUUDE! You have no ideare how much I heart this story! It's so great! I love how you wrote Kakashi... It seems to me that he would be REEAAALLLYY f-ed up after what he's been through. It's so funny, and I love all his nuroseis (sp?^_^;). Overall, this is just a great tale. Please continue it!
