What a heartbreaking, amazingly touching story... I could cry throughout the whole fic. I like this picture of a lonely Kakashi who doesn't even know how to make friends. Now it really makes sense why he wears his mask all the time. I don't read the manga anymore, so I don't know whether Kishimoto-sensei has given more info on Kakashi's past but I think the entire background you've made up perfectly goes with the series. Two thumbs up and respect, gal! ^_^

This is probably one of the best Naruto stories I have ever read!

And I'm starting to enjoy this pairing because of you! ^^ I love how you put in the flashbacks and such. It's a nice touch!

This story is absolutely wonderful! I love it!!! ^__^ Very creative and well written, especially the characterizations and descriptions. You've made both the characters and the situations they are in so very realistic that it feels as if I'm actually there, for lack of a better description. The flashbacks are an especially nice touch -- they add so much to the storyline, and it helps one to understand why Kakashi acts the way he does. I have found the way you have chosen to portray him both intriguing and facinating. Too often Kakashi is simply "overlooked" -- and the same goes for Iruka, who you have also done an excellent job with, btw -- so it is nice to finally read a fic that focuses more on him (them, lol) as complex characters interacting w/ other people (or not interacting, in Kakshi's case...) instead of just being in a mindless, sex-oriented relationship. (Wow, that was a long sentence!) ^^ But anyways, thanks again for an enjoyable read -- I can't wait to find out what happens, so keep up the good work and update ASAP!!!

it is also sad at times when you look back on Kakashi past as a child. You did a good job making it beliveable.
