Hmmm, how to begin.
I realized--the moment I finished the prologue--that a review for this was going to be darn hard to write... The best stories often are the hardest to praise because there's too much good stuff packed into them. Though this story is packed very gracefully, mind you.
Keep in mind that I'm a one-shot type of writer/reader, so to keep my attention past the first chapter is nearly impossible. You've managed to do that, and without even any lemony goodness til the end!!! I'm stunned and delighted!
Okay, I'll try to shut up soon... But this story was quite perfectly timed. The mixes in chronology was eloquently done, and what impressed me most was how realistic the writing is. You put out some situations I couldn't imagine the characters of Naruto going through, but somehow you pulled it off flawlessly, and there's no doubt in my mind that that is how they'd act.
It was an emotional ride, and far outstrips any other Naruto fanfiction I've read. I just realized that it's like midnight, and the last thing I remember before starting The Kakashi Mission was how bright the sun was...
I LOVE it when that happens.
So, thanks for writing this, and I'll definitely check out your other stuff. I officially award you the Kakairu Medal of Bestness. Take care!

i read this a while ago and then i forgot about it. But recently i have been on a Kakairu kick and have been looking for it all over FF.net and here. and i just couldnt find it for the life of me. But, obviously, I did eventually. And after a second read its still just as good. I love this story. Everything goes at a believable pace and the flashbacks were so well timed and appropriate. Just, good job. I loved it.

Oh my god. Seriously, oh my god. I read your story in one sit from 2 am to 7 am. And I'm totally speechless about how good this fic is. I just love how you write everything so real and goddamn pure that you can feel every emotion in every sentence.

AMAZING STORY!!!!!!!!! incredible you left me speechless. it was amazing . the whole neurotic kakashi was great . nothing better than a calming iruka but whatever. :D you develloped the story really well it was really nice that they didn't jump eachother from the first day and they steadilly progressed. congrats! :D

This is, hands-down, the best Naruto fic I've ever, ever read. I just finished reading it and all I want to do is read it again; it's that good. Wow. Just - wow.

That was wonderful. I really loved it, the whole thing. Your style, the way your brought out the characters. I've always been a huge fan of Kakashi/Iruka, but this was probably the best fic I've ever read of it. Thank you so much!

That was a great story:) I loved how Kakashi was so neurotic:) And that we got to see into his background quite a bit too....Great job! :)

This is a very unusual story - in a good... no, GREAT way. I've never read a story with Kakashi like this.... so paranoid, but hey, you never know, ne? Was Kakashi's 'tendencies' something that just came to you, or was it something you had to think of? Very unique story... I like it - lots! *Grins* Bye-bye now!
