ok now you've got me confused is Naruto dead and his ghost came and visited Sasuke or is he alive and he came back. was he checking on sasuke or what?

Hi, Thanks for letting me read your fic.
I suppose Sasuke is that messed up but I thought Naruto was at least handling his problems better. At the chunin exams he did say they were all freaks, and ninjas are prone to flip out and kill things. Since they're trained basically to kill people and die for the village what do you do with a useless ninja? Do they have a pension fund or retirement home? In the whole of the land of 'Naruto' there are very few old ninjas. You've certainly depicted a horrifying existence for Sasuke - maybe he should have used the fork. Your story highlights the definite problems associated with the job. I think you got into Sasuke's mind quite well and he really only knows how to hate. All of them are on the verge of insanity aren't they?

Superb characterisation and narrative. The simplicity of Sasuke's actions to create angst was heart-wrenching. Your exploration of his psychological state and Naruto's uncharactersitic (for Sasuke) behaviour is a mesmerising read.
