Once or twice a year I remember that this fic exists and no matter where I am emotionally or mentally, I am happy. I sit down and for a full week, I read each chapter slowly and carefully as I draw out every moment of it. I am always amused by how wonderful each moment is captured. From the stillness of those silent moments of deep contemplation to the explosion of emotion like a sudden sandstorm. The writing is witty, the characters are true to their form, the emotion is raw and powerful, and the love is tangible.
Thank you for this and thank you for hopefully many years to come as this story continues to bring a bit of sunshine into my life.

wow......where to begin, well I cant begin to understand how this little genm has succeded in escaping my notice for so long after haunting the Naruto fandom for well over a year but I finally found it and I could not be happier. I absolutlely adore this pairing and I am very impressed with the way you write them, it and they are faultless. Ive never found a more perfect Lee! And youve managed to make Gaara cute (dare I say adorable?) even though hes being his normal unstable (perfectly IC) self.
I have addictively read every chapter without stopping, absolutely absorbed in your excellent writing until this one where I couldn't in all good consience go any further without giving you the praise you deserve. In 'Safe Distance' I was so touched by the subtle and not so subtle emotion running through Gaara and Lee that before I had even finished the chapter I was going back to re-read paragraphs that were particularly lovely.
I love that even though you have made Lee head over heels in love he hasnt turned into a walkover, hes just normal eager slightly nerdy and unflichingly loyal Lee. Also with Gaara despite the fact that he thinks he has scared Lee he is still trying to protect his friend.
*heart*
I cannot wait to read the rest of this (especially anticipating the H and how you get this slightly arkward couple to do the horizontal tango lol)
So without further pause off I go!!

Hi! I just wanted to leave a review after I read most of your stuff to tell you how awesome of a writer you are.
I just finished reading Kindred and loved it, especially the chapters with the different perspectives.
Every time I read this, I have to laugh out loud at some chapters and I don't ever have to skip a chapter 'cause it's boring or unnecessary.
Amazing character interactions! I love the way your Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke interact; have you considered writing something with them?
I've also read 'A Break in the Routine' and loved that as well. (Laughed myself sick at times.) That's a story I'm prolly going to be re-reading for some time.
I like the way you do lemons/lime. It seems more real that way and is just as hot as anything else I've read. Well done.
Thank you for all of this wonderful writing.

This story totally sold me to Lee x Gaara. It very rich, nicely transitioned, and just plain amazing. I reccomend this story to anyone, not just Naruto fans.

Hey there! Well, I've long been a Gaara & Lee supporter, but must admit: I've never read a fanfic for them. Least not that I can remember. So when I was referred to your fic by a friend I came to it with normal expectations. Let me tell you: you've far exceeded them! This fic was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. Delightfully humorous, and touchingly dramatic, I've never had a more pleasurable experience. It brought clarity and a deep insight to the characters of both Lee and Gaara that I'd never considered before. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to reading your other stories! Yours, Herme

No, I have to agree with some of what you're saying at the end of chapter 13 and I don't care that what you're writting isn't some typical romantic story because when it comes to someone as emotionally scarred as Gaara, I think you've captured a very real reaction and dealings of his new found emotions. And I enjoy reading Gaara come to terms with 'a new door to open' instead of a 'dead end.' And Lee. Lee is just fantastic. He's such a wonderful multi layered character and you've done such a wonder job with him in your story. I've probably read this story three times in its entirly and I think Gaara and Lee fall in love and love each other as much as the next person even with all their scars, emotional or not. And I didn't expect Gaara and Lee to fall in love via 'fairy tale' style right away. Not that the other authors' works blow or anything, but with you're style, it wouldn't work. Does that make sense? Oh well, I luv this story so such and I will continue to enjoy reading it again and again. I can only hope I can capture Gaara dealing with emotions such as love as well and believable as you and finally talk my sister into reading this wonderful story. Off to enjoy the rest of the chapters and thanks so much for sharing this with us. ^_^!!
