What a wonderful Christmas Present! I was so happy to find your chapter on line this morning. Thank you for taking time for us poor little starved creatures.
I liked the way the letter to Gai finally is written but ends up in the garbage can nonetheless because during this chapter Lee has matured enough to realize he must sort things for himself.
I am very happy to see the two lovebirds getting closer physically (go for it, Lee, one day you WILL be able to cuddle him!), I am looking forward to the attack of Lee's hormones.

Okay, I have to quote something here, because it may just be the most awesomely written "aww" moment in history:

"This was it, he realized. This was what he wanted, and yeah, he wanted all of it, even if he couldn't understand it all either. He wanted to hold the touch-starved child-killer; the dangerous, demon-ridden man; the Kazekage; the friend; the lover, too, because that was a part of the whole as well. He wanted all of it; he wanted Gaara, so badly."

I literally melted into a puddle of fan-girl goo after reading that, and then Lee wanted to walk Gaara home! Like their patrol had been a date! Oh gods, I laughed over that.

The letter writing part is interesting, I really liked the whole idea of it, with the ending part of Lee burning the letter because he had realized in the back of his head long before he started writing the letters that Gai-sensei would not be able to really help him and he had to do this by himself (or rather, with Gaara, and nobody else). Great depth of feeling, and great addition to the depth of the character of Lee overall.

I loyally wait for the next chapter, because now I'm a true fan of *yours*, and not just the series, anymore.

I can't give you a glorious review filled with intellectual words of encourgement or splendidly long paragraphs explaining everything I love from the deep profound dialogue or character interpretation but I figure for you the thought of that I tried would mean enough.

just decided to drop by and write you a review as i've decided you havent got enough reviews that you so richly deserve....my god u are sooooooo fantastic. marvelously articulate. a master in the written word and in warped psychologies....cause and effect per se..... i love ur story.... i couldnt even consider a gaara/lee pairing in my wildest, most convulated, opium induced imagination and with just one fanfiction you just made me up and buy the whole ship....its fantastic. u are the sole reason i scour google and recs sites for any gaara/lee fanfiction. i've been reccomending this story to my friends on-line, on forums, in real life....and they're as impressed as i am.... pls continue....dont you dare finish halfway....we all want to see how this all ends, we want to see sunagakure and konohagakure's reaction to gaara and lee's love and we want to see out poor gaara get his much deserved loving, hugging, kissing, snuggling, shagging, not necessarily in that order....

that said, i do have to point out that that is the 3rd (or is it 4th?) long conversation they have had about their love life. could we pls have more touching maybe more of that hug in chapter 15? and a bit more kissing pls....like that one in chapter 13... and conversation intersepersed in between? we love u and we love ur story and we love gaara and lee! ur making such good progress, i'll be looking forward for more in January! lotsa love, apreciation, encouragement and kissess!
