Heh heh, I love the reaction Kakashi had to Gai after his previous thoughts on that matter. I have been in this situation and another frustrating side problem with suddenly realizing that you have an attraction to someone that you have known for ages is that what previously might have been an innocent conversation takes a whole new direction in your mind. You are left wondering what was meant by an innocent comment and will possibly read things into it that weren't meant. Again, another great chapter and I can't wait to see the next.

You know what the funniest thing was about that guy in highschool? We only had sex once, and that's all it took to get it out of our systems, but we were just as bad about competing afterwards as we were before. I guess we just wanted to see what our rivalry would be like in bed. Heh.

well even if you considered those last chapters fillers i think you did a wonderful job on them. i agree, it is great to see the interworkings of kashai's mind on his attractions and coming to terms with his new found sexual feelings. yes, finding your attraction to someone you've known for along time is quit a wakeup call. trust me i married my best friend, whom had been my friend since kindergarten! keep up the good work and get that homework done! just think the sooner you get it done the sooner you can get back to writing!

Well for a filler chapter it was wonderful and I feel it had validation. The mental stress that Kakashi is going through would most definitly come out in the form of freaky dreams. The scroll still baffles me though and I am intrigued as to who it could be. I cant wait for the next chapter, but please be sure to do your schoolwork so your mind will be at ease to write such awesome chapters. And thank you so much for answering my question, I will likely take some classes on Japanese at a later time.. but no worries I am a very determined person.

Hello, sweetheart. Another great few chapters. I'm desperately waiting for an update. I have to tell you about my little rivalry in highschool that turned love affair really quick. Let's just say that I lost my virginity early in my life, and I really don't regret it. I've had quite a few bed partners before my husband (none of them compare to him in bed) but this guy who was my rival in high school was my most memorable out of all of those.

I was on the debate team... (yeah, I know, GEEK) and my rival on the team was a tall, well built guy who was a rich kid because daddy was the best doctor in our town. We were always competing for first place on the team, and when we'd practice, everyone would always wince because we were so vicious with each other during a round. Then, one day, out of the blue, when our team was at a debate tournament, he hauled me off to a corner and told me that he was tired of me being a bitch and wanted me to just admit he was better and more experienced. Ha. That did go over too well, so we verbally sparred for a while, and in the middle of it, I found myself getting turned on.

Well, after the tournament on our way home, I was sitting next to him on the bus, and low and behold, he reached his long arm around me and pulled me against him so I could sleep against him the entire way home. After a few weeks, I got over the initial repulsion of being attracted to him, and I found myself in his bed. Although the sex was not kinky, freakish, or otherwise different than any other guy, the sheer force of passion that was fueled by competitivenss made it mind blowing and numbing almost.

Heh. Here's to rivalry...! It's a great catalyst!
