Hey nice lil fics for those two but I do have a problem.. Naruto the Meek not likely. But Sasuke is not Human he doesn't know how to be.. And Sakura the pity I doubt.. She is the only girl Naruto ever wanted and now he had her but then he loses her to Sasuke.. I don't think they all could love her but I think if Naruto leaves and comes back who knows maybe just maybe someone else could grab Sasuke's attention. So then she won't be so frail and undernourished because of how Sasuke is and maybe Naruto may die on his mission.... or he just doesn't come back for a few reasons..... I'm impressed by your style. You're a great author, and I'm surprised you don't have more reviews.
As far as the "Fog" Universe... plot bunny from hell, it seems to me. I'm not sure if a happy-ending is possible unless someone dies. Then again, I think the tragedy is very beautiful in this scenario... Anyway, unless there is some serious mental growth on someone's part, your charas aren't going to change. Perhaps the Kyuubi could be the instigator of something? That's the only character who isn't half-wasted with internal anguish.

wow, i'm impressed. i think that you just hit the crux of the situation, if either sasuke or naruto actually got involved with sakura while the other was alive. and if one died, the other would be scared of competing with a ghost.
i do hope that you keep writing in the fog universe, maybe a bit more than a chapter, telling of some of naruto's thoughts during the mission, what sasuke and sakura did when naruto was on the mission, if anything, of what happens when naruto gets back.
