Wow. This is fun. I have a couple of things, first a minor grip and then some major praise. Teeny-tiny gripe - Sannin means "Three Ninjas", Sennin means "hermit" Jiraiya is the Gama Sennin, the Toad Hermit. Neither Tsunade nor Ororchamaru are Sennin, they're Sannin, part of the legendary Three Ninjas. So very, very many people don't pick that up, so don't worry about it. It's just a pet peeve of mine. :) Major praise!!! I love your characterizations!! I think you've pegged Shikamaru and the rest perfectly. For what it's worth, I don't think your Sasuke is OOC, I think he's in the exact head-space he'd be in if he'd come back. You're also one of the few fic writers who has not only picked up on the fact that none of the kids knows about the Kyuubi, but has used that fact dramatically, to deepen the characterization and the plot, and not just thrown the revelation away. And oh, man! I love, love LOVE your Shino!!! I can't wait for the next chapter!! Bravo!

OMG....I love this story!!! Especially the whole Naruto/Shikamaru pairing....there aren't alot of them out there. I hope I see another chapter soon....I've grown quite addicted to this story **smiles** It rocks....keep up the good work.

Wonderful job on the story so far, cant wait to read more.. I've only seen a few stories with the shika/naru pairing and only one of those was really worth reading ( I think it was fading scars.. had neji/sasu pairing too.. to many stories to remember them all hehe) .. but this one definitly has potential.. loving the build up and all ^_^ I look forward to see where ya take it ^_^

Hi! I love your fic! Great plot, good writing style and love the characterizations. I adore the Shika/Naru pairing since I don't see it that often and they are sooo HOT together. Crying shame that there aren't enough fics about them as a couple. I really enjoy the story and hope to see more in the future!

hmm... I'm gonna keep on going with this because you're setting this up nicely. Just a note; watch your sentence structure. It gets a little awkward at moments. You tend to switch adverbs and verbs around. But! Your story is awesome. :) I like.

As long as the story is still Naruto/Shika I think it would be cool to put Sasuke in there....I don't know about Itachi though putting him in there as anything is good to me. I luv the way you've characterized (is that a word?) Shikamaru in this story.....I am anxious to see how he acts on a mission....luvin' the story

I think adding sasuke would be interesting to the story, especially if you are making a narushika pair. It would help stir things up and make more interesting dialogue as well as give you a chance to show how different sasuke's character has become since he was brought back. Sasuke also seems to need some more training and wants to test himself against naruto again, so it would be the perfect oppertunity. Adding Kiba or would be interesting as well, but the most important people (Shika, Sasuke, and Neji) are already on the team so I'm sure whoever else is choosen to join will work out. If it would be interesting if gaara joined but I don't know if that'll fit with the story or if you're planning on them meeting later on. Anyways, good story so far, i'm interested in reading more. ^_^
