Great chapter. Loved the scene with Kankuro's face all markered up. That happened to me before, though I was able to get it off, thankfully.

I just finished chapter 8 and I really have to say: GREAT STORY! :
- Authentic characters and realistic reactions
- Good writing style (nice and flowing)
- Interesting storyline (til now ^^)
- Shikamaru's POV is written great
- love your kind of preview at the end of each chapter

Loved it. I was so happy when I realized that you had updated again! And so quickly too! (cheers). Lovd the hot springs scene. Poor, poor Shikamaru. Life is so troublesome for him, ne?

Loved it. The fight scene was so well done! I always find fighting hard to write, but you did such a great job on it!

I have to say, I'm rather obsessed with your story, my dear. I haven't read fanfiction since I got into Harry Potter (eons ago) but, honestly, yours is the only tale that's held my complete attention for more than three chapters. I keep checking back, praying that you haven't given up on it entirely, because I'd really like to see the conclusion.
You might be a bit nicer to Shino, though. XD
