This is amazing!!! I wish I could write something so highly erotic *meh*. I thought the couple was SasuxNaru right until the end where you mention long strands of hair and clouds. Damn, you are good. I hope to read more from you, especially NejixShika since that is my favourite couple :P I'll go now and read your other story. Mata ne!

I love the build-up as they're so magnetically drawn to each other, and how they keep subtly torturing each other until they can get to Neji's place. XD That's so cute! And when Neji got up to sit by Shikamaru when Ino wouldn't move-- that was awesome!

I'm not much for lemons without more of a story wound around it-- I have absolutely zero problems reading a good smut scene (and this was very good!), I just prefer it being secondary to plot XD-- but this was a very sweet read nonetheless. I'm not sure if 'sweet' is what you were going for so much as passionate or intense, but sex translates differently in my head, I think. XD

As far as characterization goes, I think your Neji was great. XD How he's so sly and smirking and in control-- I love it! Shikamaru seems a bit more desperate than I generally picture him being ("Let me sit there!" I half-hissed), and I can't ever picture him seriously calling Neji "Neji-sama" unless he had to. XD But aside from that, I like how the fic followed his thoughts as he'd watch (read: eye-worship) Neji, reacting to his flirts and flirting back (can I use the word 'flirt' there? That sounds so casual compared to the intense volley they were doing XD). His uncertainty ("Where do we go from here?") is cute, and I like how you started the fic with that line, and brought it back after the flashback to continue with them in bed. ♥ Very nice work!

I figured it the dark one was either Neji or Sasuke, but I wouldn't have guessed the pov was Shika's. After all, I'm not quite sure he was lazy enough to be my fave Nara, but this was wonderful, loved it lots!

Wah! I'm so glad I took the chance to read this! I usually skip on fics that don't have ShikaNeji (or vice versa) in the summary, but I dunno... I just have a feeling about this one, and yay!!!! I've hit the jackpot! XDDDD I didn't guess who the pairing was because, um, I sorta cheated heheh... ^^; I scrolled down until I found names, and after I caught them I went back up and really read the fic. I really, really loved it. It has just the right amount of romance/sweetness, and the love scene went well with the whole idea (Shikamaru's monologue, the setting, etc). Thank you so much for writing this.

i kinda knew it was neji, what with tenten being sad and all at the sake stand...

... but i totally thought it was naruto and neji! XD and even when i knew it was neji, i still kinda thought it could be sasuke! haha

this was nicely written, something to keep me guessing from one sentence to the next, and even doubting myself, lol. great job!

Well, to be honest, I had an inkling one of them could be Shikamaru... and I'm so glad I was right ^_^ I just looooove Shika and Neji (hence my own stories ^^) and the way you described them was oh so hot. That...was really good. The whole time I was thinking of what the pairing was, and then I went an read it again and realized just how HOT it was. Very nice, indeed.

For the pairing...well...

I was thinking who it could be based on what you wrote, but you were definitely tricky. For the second person I was debating between Neji and Sasuke. Actually the whole time I was almost positive it was Sasuke except for when you put in Ten Ten sitting next to him (she would never be that put out just by Sasuke). And for the narator I was SO COMPLETELY sure it was KIBA! I mean, it fit with EVERYTHING! Seriously, read it again and think of it as Kiba and it goes perfectly! Except for the end, of course, and with the 'genius' comment I didn't think you were talking about the narator! Every action just screamed Kiba to me, I can't believe I was wrong! But as I said, you were good. It was those last few paragraphs that I figured out it was Shika, who I hadn't even thought of before! And Neji. ('Cause by the end I was still almost sure it was Sasuke, too!)

*sigh* And I'm always so good at these. *hangs head in shame*

Anyway, awesome job. It was fun not knowing for sure who it could've been.
