First things first; I like the idea behind this story. It could really head places. Trouble is, the very moment I got to chapter two, I couldn't go any furthur, mainly due to the fact that I couldn't read it anymore. You need to sort it out, pronto!!

You're kidding me! You have to bekidding me! You ended the chapter before any of their reaction, or thought from Sasuke or Sakura! I love this fic, maybe even more than the others - except Colourless Vanity. I love Naruto centric stories, and those even more, where a decision or action happenes differently, creating an alternative reality!
Naruto and the others making chuunin and being grooped is a great decision! As well as Naruto and Lee changing both in appereance and with all the others training and learning new things. The group dynamics are superb too, not just with their fighting ability, but with their personality - not to mention, there is a straight line for NejiShika from here, but I wouldn't mind Naruto mixing in for a bit or more too. :3
Ino is just lovable and I'm not against her being happy with Tenten. Chers for making Kakashi regret his choices as teacher and caring for Naruto more! As well for making Sasuke be totally OOC and make him THINK... Yeah, with some inner torture and a spice of this reality I can forgive him in time and accept him as Naruto's other half. Oh, and even if you did't give him much stage, Chouji was perfect! Just like his original self, caring, but taking food reaally seriously! Loved him too!
Naruto's mentality, being alone, 'nothing', hurt and with noone caring, but doing his best, is a comlex thing to write, finding the balance, not to make him bitching or martyr, but the one we readers and the other characters want to protect, cherish. I think you pulled it off perfectly! With the friends, and the clan heads and Tsunade and the teachers.
Like this, actually giving him a chance, I'd love to see him develope in every aspect till the end of the story.

From the time this story first came out, I read it often over the years. To this day I keep hoping it will be updated like the other stories that you do. This continues to be right at the top as my favorites go. I hope you'll strongly consider updating this story soon. A well thought up and put together story is essential to me more so then the fluffy, smutty, and down right sexual scenes in between. I'd really love it if you could update it soon. Thanks!

I just started reading this fic today and got all the way though what you have posted! One of your stories was on another author's page so after I read it I had to find more of your work. I'm really enjoying this fic, and I love how you've written the characters so far. It's also great to see a truly repentant Sasuke - so I'm looking forward to reading about his relationships with the rest of the rookie 9 as the story progresses. I hope you haven't abandoned this story, but just in case you'd considered it, please don't! It's really well written and I'm HOOKED! Great work, please update soon!

i really love this fic,and i was wondering if you are gonna update soon,ireally sad that Naruto is going to a rough time,i yhink tha Sasuke need to work hard for the forgivenes of Naruto,and i really think that Lee deserve better than Sakura,because i think is a very selfish.I hope you update soon.

Glad to see that your working on Colourless Vanity again. I hope that you will choose this story next. It is one of my favorits.
It isn't the pairing, in general I don't care much about them, het or otherwise. For me a well written story is far more important.
That is why I am looking foward to seeing more of this. The rescue team being promoted isn't something you see a lot of, and makes perfect sense. The team dynamics for the group are intresting, and work well.
One thing I see a lot of is that the Kage Bunshin are useless in battle. I have to disagree. For one the sharingan and byakugan can't tell which is real. I know Sasuke says he can in the Anime but that was apparently because he remembered where the real one was. But later in the manga we see Naruto switch himself out with a shadow clone in the smoke against Kakuzu, leading him to attack a fake while the real one attacked from behind. I was expecting Gai to suggest adding more speed and dodges to his taijutsu allowing them to last longer. If the enemy has to use jutsu to take them down, and even lethal opponents like Kimmimaro had to use his bloodline, and this was the guy whose body Orochimaru wanted more than Sasuke's. In canon. Using chakra to dispel the clones, whose unused chakra goes right back to Naruto. Who has one and a half times Kakashi's chakra without kyuubi before tree climbing. In a war of chakra attrition Naruto is almost gauranteed to win. I agree that the way he uses them in canon is wasteful but I would have expected Gai to offer improvements instead of seeing no potential at all for them in combat.
