Omg,ok, I know I reviewed on tonfa when you originally posted this, but I had to reread the first chappie before diving into the second, just cuz I wanted to… and… I hafta mention a few things now lmao..
“Look Ino, I don’t get a lot of time off now that I am a jounin, and when I do have days off I would prefer to spend them in a relaxed state.” He said.
“You have only been a jounin for one day, let’s go.” lmfao, literally. That is greatness, yo.
Also:
he sank into the cushions, trying to blend in with the rest of the potted plants. heeee, you have such awesome shika punchlines XD
Leading a team of genin was bad enough when they were your age. Leading a group of genin that are 5 years younger than you...troublesome. heheh, like you said, mastercard comm.
Ino had already seen pretty much all of him. Which was why Shikamaru now considered himself gay. But that was a story for another time. lol, you really hated Ino way back when you first started this fic (not that you LOVE her NOW..just sayin..’sfunny)
the other jounin dancing around, his legs stuck in his pants legs, mud flying everywhere, and Ino pretty much losing her mind. lmao, I can so see Naruto doing that XD

“I was taking the genin to the village of wave, and we encountered some rogue ninja. Then...”
“That’s ok, Naruto, never mind.” Shika said. haha, poor shika.. can’t be bothered..

Woot! Finally, after like two YEARSSSSS!!! ..anyway..

“Hmmm.” Shikamaru said, smiling wider this time, knowing what Naruto had just said would sink into the blonde’s skull in a second.

“Hehehe.” I know I already told you in IM when you gave me spoilers, but I am STILL laughing about that, I can just HEAR naru’s mischievous little chuckle!!
“Why didn’t you tell anyone you were a Jounin?” Shikamaru asked.
Naruto looked at his hands. Sadness filled his blue eyes for only an instant.
“Bahh, who cares about that! I need a drink!” ooooh, mysterious! *intrigued even more* ..btw, smooth subject change there, Naruto…
He was trying to be thoughtful, although he kept admiring the way Naruto’s butt looked in his pants.
Troublesome. to quote Naruto… hehehe
He was facing Shikamaru, a black cord holding a blue pendant hung on his bare chest. Shikamaru wanted to examine it, as he hadn’t seen it this close before. The necklace, of course, not the chest.
Or…well…Troublesome. again, I say: hehehe
Also, hahaha, is ino playing matchmaker? Devious blondes…. (hush, I know I’m blonde, too >.> )
Shikamaru sighed. “Well, come on.”
“I am.”
“No, you aren’t”
“Oh, right.” Naruto said, and began to slowly move forward. lmao! Lmaolmaolmao! Ahh, yknow what’s great? When people know what it’s LIKE to be drunk like that, so they know how to WRITE it, too! ilu!

GRAH! where is the rest? surely there is more and this teaser will have something added to it soon? shikamaru is so often overlooked in fics that it's rather a pleasant change to see him out and about and actually the center of a story.....but please, there is more to this yes?
