I have yet to write Gaara into any of my stories for two reasons.
1) I couldn't keep him in character if I tried. Gaara is notoriously hard to write, and there's only two authors that I can think of on here that can write him and Lee together as I see them.
2) Gaara is not fun to write. He's harsh, uncaring, and he doesn't like anyone. Except for maybe Kankurou.
I love the Gaara/Lee pairing, but for me, the story was off a bit. Lee is a bit OOC in the story which irked me a little just because I'm so used to him being a certain way, and then, all of the sudden, he does a 180 and is completely different. Lee doesn't lay down for anyone, and he would have rather died than give anyone an inch. The true Lee would have died defending himself.
Also, Gaara finds emotion, human touch, and affection unneeded. If you truely want the psychological reason for rape, the explanation is that rape is a power trip and that's all. Obviously, Gaara has enough power with the bloodlust of Shukaku, so what would drive him to do something so extreme?
Just a few thoughts for you. On the other hand, your grammar is excellent, and your format is restful to the eye. I've truly enjoyed reading your work if just for the fact that your KNOW your English. I look forward for new works from you. ^_^

WHAT does everyone ELSE think of Lee's odd behaviour? Gai and Kakashi obviously noticed something's wrong with Lee! By now the other Rookie 9 and Lee's other teammates should HAVE noticed that Lee's not being his usual self! WHY make Gaara the bad guy here? I cannot see Gaara touching other people! I doubt he would be able to touch human contact-NOT after the way he grew up alone!

Wow, for someone who likes Rock Lee you sure were mean to him. To be honest, Lee/Gaara is one of my favorite pairings, but I don't know if you could develop this into a romance without it seeming forced and unnatural. If it were to turn into a romance, I think I would almost prefer that someone was impersonating Gaara, and it hadn't really been Gaara that had forced himself onto Lee. I know it’s in Gaara's personality to be dominating, but he also strikes me as the type to have honor. I will definitely read chapter two, but the idea of Gaara being a rapist just isn't appealing to me. I'm curious to see where you will take this fic.

As you can see, Yes, I did read your story. I would like you to continue, it will be interesting to see the psychology behind Gaara's attacks, and why he chose Lee. What will the effects both long term and short term on Lee. Please continue, I'd like to see what you come up with next.

This story really caught me off gaurd here. I really hope it is a ninja impersonating Gaara using a transformation jutsu. If it isn't, I wonder what would happen to the alliance between the Sand Village and the Leaf Village. Keep it up!

Hnn, I thought the reasoning behind Gaara's behavior would be obvious to everyone so I didn't really explain it.
Well, Gaara grew up scared and alone. He does not know how to love, nor show affection.
Everyone has sexual needs and desires, and when Gaara feels this he just well...doesn't know what to do. In real life, rapist are often those who were abused as children, and feel pleasure in making others feel pain. With that logic and reasoning, Gaara becoming a rapist shouldn't be a surprise. ok, I didn't want to do this but looks like I'm gonna have to give out some spoilers on my story. Gaara is "in love" with Lee. Later on in the story Lee is going to confront Gaara, in order to see if he is the mysterious serial rapist, and question why he raped him. Trust me, I can turn this into somewhat of a romance. Long story short, Lee is going to teach Gaara affection and they'll live hapilly ever after.
@Shinigami - It's only been two days. And this is just the first chapter. Of course the others had noticed a difference in Lee(like Sakura for example) but my main focus in this story will be the relationship between Lee and Gaara. I don't necessarily plan on showing the emotions of all of the other shinobi as well. And about your "bad guy" comment, thats your opinion. I happen to be a Gaara fan, anyway. Of course I don't sympathize with rapists in real life, but knowing Gaara's story, his past, his pain, and the fact that he is fictional, should envoke feelings of pity for him, not just him being labeled "evil".
