if you want to make the more childish, informal version of mother, o kaa-san, it's "haha". the informal, more childish version of father, o tou-san, is "chichi". the kanji remains the same. also, you typically only use haha and chichi when you are talking about your mother and father, because it's rude to refer to your own parents in the super-respectful way; it's like saying, "So the other day, my honorable and respected father went to the store..." which is considered pretentious and arrogant.
you use the formal versions when talking about other people's parents, to show respect, and you use informal versions when talking about your own parents, to show humility. many childrem use the formal versions when they are actually addressing their parents, like, "O kaa-san, will you give me a ride?" to show their respect to their parents, but children who are very close to their parents or who have more relaxed, less strict parents, will use the humble form of addressing them to show familiarity. it's older/younger brother, o nii-san/otouto-san (formal), and older/younger sister, o nee-san/imouto-san (formal) that are more often turned into their humble forms with the suffix "chan": older/younger brother, ani/otouto; older/younger sister, ane/imouto. When I read the summary I was sure that this would be another story making Naruto some weak feminine weakling. But I was happily mistaken I love this storyline and I can't wait to see what will happen to him and his wooing party. Please update this soon. I am so anxious to find out how the fight turns out. Just how strong is Naruto?
