hey man. long time no see/read. new chappie, huh? The theme seems to be addiction. kindda like a pressuring a hurt to intessify the pain because the new overwhelming feeling is something different then the previous. it is a change. a distraction. the more intense intense the distraction, the more numb you feel. and numbness brings about that coveted blankness of thought.

how does one accidently O.D.? how does one act on a subconcious impulse that goes against the laws of self preservation? (an impulse that an anger fueled conciousness is not equipped to correctly diagnose, and which it indentifies as a temporary band aid) simple. one goes to sleep: bleeding dry or superceeding the sleeping pill dossage.

scary isn't it? how interchangeble the terms victim and agressor really are..how similar they become. one can say that sasuke, much like itachi had done, is creating naruto in his image. naruto inherited self distructive behaviour, even if it manifest subliminaly, from the experience he had w/ sasuke. like a virus. which beggs the question..who infested itachi?..i suppose it would be pointless to answer. the chain of such command extends all the way to god, ne?..

i had a bit of a flash of insight. there is a trend in naruto's and sasuke's behaviour, that is prettey consistent and ...identical. i think it's you... (can't explain it well right now, it's 5 am - went clubbing and tomorrow morrnig i gotta move outta my rez - hey, i never claimed i's the responsible type:p)

why hello there, you GUY you. jk actually i think that's pretty freaking awesome you're a dude. i think we need more of you guys here. anywho, i just wanna say what a nice story you got here. i like how this story is different and i positively adore angst and cynicism; i mean that in the nicest way possible of course. ^^ but hey, where's neji? ::looks around frantically:: i do hope he comes back. well, i look forward to the next chapter and crossing my fingers for a happy ending, maybe a narusasu? ::nudge nudge:: ;-)

Scary? You're adorable. Thank you so much, I'm really glad you liked the cover, and I love the chapter. It was tense and not at all over done, which such a loaded situation could easily have been. You did really well to keep them believably in character, and I think you're right, Naruto is too kind to actually go through with something like that, especially when the other person is so obviously hurting too. And Sasuke and his self destructive behaviours :(, Naruto's gonna turn on the tele again to see news about Sasuke - Is he going to end up in hospital? Heh, they should both end up in the hospital - close quarters. They need to talk to each other - I'm really interested to see what you'll come up with. That's what really grabbed me about this story - the story line is just different and interesting, you get all caught up. If you'd like to bounce some ideas off me, I would love to talk it out with you. Thanks again for the awesome chappie, ja ne.

YAY you updated!!! Ooohh, god I don't know who I feel for more :s Naruto or Sasuke. Naruto seemed so hard for a minute there and I thought he might say something - not actually tell everyone like that but I don't know, and the way Sasuke just shaking - I really can't wait to see where things are going from here. Thanks for the update ^_6
