Hey you! For some reason I missed the update for ch. 17, so you'll be seeing two reviews from me today, one for 17 and one for 18. :D This chapter was, I think, the best I've seen from you so far. You described Naruto's new environment exceptionally well (side note: all of this is just based on my opinion and my likes), with enough to give the reader a clear picture without over-describing, if that makes sense. It's very common to be at either extreme: little description, where the author gives just enough so that the reader can maybe see it in their head, but they'll have to come up with the details themselves (my tendency); and too much description, where it's almost boring too read, being filled with a lot of details that probably don't matter. You balance the two very well. You also did a good job with the last half, with the search team and how they were "lost". You kept that illusion going for the reader for as long as it took Sasuke to figure out. (I'm such a nerd, but I love that kind of stuff. It's very easy to foreshadow in a really obvious way, but, again, you managed to keep that in check.) So far, this is the best chapter you've put out as far as grammar and spelling and all of that fun stuff. I'm very impressed! If I were to edit this, I would have to look very hard for errors. Well done, and I'll see you in a few minutes! ;)

'S me again! I love these little segments. They're so much fun. And I got the Naruto game for PS2, too! And, yeah, I really HATE the American dubs. Grr. But oh wells. Well, I don't really have much more to say...I don't know how I managed to miss the question deadlines BOTH TIMES, but I did. Do you think you'll do another one before the story is done? Well, merry Christmas! I hope it was great.

very nice! It seems our naruto is very popular! keep up the good work, oh and if you don't have a beta or your beta suddenly goes on vacation i'll be glad to do one of your stories ^_^. Now this is my question [when will Iruka and Kakashi get it on? same question goes for Sasuke and Naruto.] no. 2 [when can neiji get a clue that naruto doesn't like him?!] and lastly [i think lee and gaara make a cute pair but how come there's no Kiba and Shino?]

haha. is Neji plotting to kill sasuke while he sleeps?

when i read that the tengu was haku, i was like wtf? it's cool and everything, but i definitely wasn't expecting that. and he's so cute, while naruto's kind of oblivious. they'd be so cute together... but i'm still a rabid narusasu yaoi fangirl. and i've never been a big fan of gaara and lee (if that's the direction you're going in), but for some reason, i could totally see them together in this story.

so, i guess my question would be to gaara. *do you like lee's bushy eyebrows? are you jealous of them? if he could help you grow yours out like that, would you?*

those were kind of stupid, but i can't think of anything serious yet. so, can't wait until you update. i'm really looking forward to the holiday special!
