Okay, so chapter 1 complete!
I love how your stories are so orininal.
You always seem to take the characters in directions that most people have yet to think of!
The ANBU are such an interesting and mysterious group, I hope that will make for an interesting story here!
Really looking forward to the next chapter, so here I go!

Wow!
This is coming along so well.
I'm really enjoying it! I can't wait for poor Naruto to start his training! The idea of him being in that group is amazing, even though I am a little nervous of some of the types of jobs he would have to do for them when his training was complete.
I think he would make an excellent ANBU!
Being in ANBU didn't seem to mess up someone as warm hearted as Iruka and I don't think it would scar Naruto to badly either.
Oh boy, I'm so excited! Off to read ch.4!XD

*Stares* - rereads - ....O_O.... AWESOME!! I LOVE YOUR WRITING!! OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!! It makes me feel so... so.... HAPPY! It's ENTHRALLING!! If you ever publish a book, (or already have) I WILL READ IT!! YAY!!! lol... anyway... your story makes me happy! *squeals in delight* The power, the raw sheerness of it! The roar of emotions! (I'm getting a little excited!) - not, I'm SUPER-EXCITED!! YAY!!! UPDATE SOON AGAIN OKAY??!! Also.. Karasu means crow, (as you said,) but does that mean Naruto's teammates are Itachi, Iruka, and Kakashi? 'Cause I've read somewhere that Kakashi means Scarecrow, but you know..... *whispers dejectedly..* but... I wanted Iruka to be secretly stronger than Kakashi.... I've never read a story like that.... *sigh* oh well. I love the pairings though! *On a brighter note* Itachi/Naruto yumminess... And the loveable, perverted pairing of Kakashi/Iruka. I refuse to write "more" or "please" twenty times, despite the fact that I was chanting those same words after only the second chapter. However, that is what I am asking for: More Please!
I absolutely love this story. Simple fact for a complicated story. I am enamoured with your writing style, with your characterization, with your respect for the reader(which is so seldom forgotten in this technological age.) The way the thought processes are articulated make perfect sense when the reader compares it to how those same characters have acted in the cannon series.
I sincerely want to thank you for not ruining the characters. While I am not offended, like many a fan, with any attempt an author makes at impressing their own ideas on established characters, I do not appreciate a full-turn around. You have made the characters act in a, for lack of a better word, characteristic manner. With the situation you are building, that is a very difficult feat to manage. Once more, thank you!
I'm also impressed and intrigued by your original characters. I enjoy both the names, and the effort spent into their logic, and mannerisms. I cannot express how happy I am that you have fashioned Iruka into a retired ANBU looking to once more take up the lofty title. I think it fits perfectly within the context of the story. I would like to think that the reason for his return to the Force will be revealed, and am silently hope it, in one way or another, revolves around Naruto.
I also (reverts to fan girl mode) can't wait to see how Iruka and Kakashi come together. I am dying to see how Kakashi will react once he sees Iruka's ANBU tattoo! I know that chances are that Kakashi knows Iruka was once ANBU, seeing as how he himself was once a part of the select team, but I still can't help but wait for the reaction. Whether it will be surprise, momentary shock and remembrance, or increased lust after such a strong and convincing actor. Then again, I am just a screaming fan-girl, so who am I to say?
Well, I think that's all the praise I have for now! Trust, if you write more, I will review more. Now that most of the gushing is out of the way on how absolutely wonderful your writing is, more oft then not my reviews will focus around plot, and not writing, characterization, and mechanics. (Though I still have yet to properly thank you spell-checking)

I can't wait to see how the interaction between Naruto and Itachi is going to pan out. I love this pairing and there are so few of these around. Plus, I'm really glad that Naruto has a chance to be the shinobi that he can be. Love this plot. Good job on the writing! :)
