It's depressing that Kishimoto owns this series when you so clearly pwn it. This story was lovely. I've read some of your work over on lj so it was extremely gratifying to find you here as well. I love the way you write and characterize them. You have a very firm grasp of their notions and motivations. It's truly surprising how well you write them. I'm looking forward to more. ^__^

wow, that was really nice. the prose was almost poetic, but it still had a plot, a complicated plot. i didn't really feel like it was /pretentious/ really, as much as a definitive genre piece, very sharp and lyrical and realistic. almost reminds me of samuel delaney, when he wrote his memoirs. anyways, im rambling o yeah. good job ^.^

Your pride is not vain. This story was beautiful and your hard work is apparent. Thank you very much. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the fruits of your effort. There is a depth of emotion in this that is rare to see. I enjoyed how you managed to maintain the tone of inner sorrow throughout without it becoming overwhelming and whiney. Your characterization was also very believable. I loved the interplay between Naruto and Sasuke at the beginning. I imagine that's probably what it would be like for them in reality if not cannon. You write Kakashi and Sasuke well. In fact, I think this is my favorite characterization of Kakashi that I’ve seen. The best part was the subtlety of the pairing. Not all "adult" fiction requires "porn", so I thank you for keeping it mild and semi-sweet. And lastly, I have to give you props on the incorporation Obito. He's just one of my very faves and you did well by him. Do you have this posted at FFN? I'd like to add it to my C2 if you do. Well, I could probably go on and on about how excellent every perfect little detail was, but I really should get to my homework. Please keep writing! You're awesome! (^-^)v

Wow. Allow my to finish crying and wiping my tears up off my desk, and when I'm done with that, I'll pick up my jaw off my floor and be right with you.

Now. Let me figure out a few words to describe your talent. Wow. Amazing. Incredible. Magnificent. Poised. Dignified. Emotional. Unique. I'm such a big fan of the KakaSasu pairing, and I got some pretty good feedback on the oneshot I put in my own series, (Velvet and Steel) but my god, your work completely blows mine out of the water, and I'm just in awe of your presence. Amazing.
A few things really got to me...like Kakashi's pain and his guilt still following him over what happened, and the unspoken pain that he bore on his shoulders of his promise to Obito. I loved it so much, and I just can't tell you how amazed I am at your talents. I'm so honored to have read your story. Simply amazing.

This was very nice and well written. I absolutely loved the characterizations - Sasuke is as petulant as ever, Kakashi is an introvert, and Naruto's (though he wasn't one of the main characters) reaction to Sasuke's return was as expected, but original in its entirety. I kind of wanted NaruSasu because I'm such a sucker for angst and romance once you mentioned Naruto, but this KakaSasu was very nice. I'm glad you wrote this pairing because there isn't enough out there.
Pls write more!!

I think I remember reading this before, on LiveJournal if I recall correctly. I don't think I commented though so I will now.
Absolutely beautiful, I loved how you wrote this. The way you used Obito and Kakashi himself to describe Naruto and Sasuke was really cool and Kakashi's POV was done very well. Great job, you really can move someone with this piece. Parts of it made me want to cry. It's cool because you can bring that feeling out without having to have a big depressing scene, but only a couple of words.
Awesome job.
