OMG I just am loving this story. i just happen to find your name as a recommendation from another author (sorry don't remember who it was!)and thought i'd just take a quick look.. lo and behold, i am soooo hoooked! the characterization, the plot (i haven't read the manga so am totally clueless!)everything is just the epitome of the naruto world.
well, i probably won't write again until i get caught up .. can't bear to be away from the fic, you know. ;-)

This story was brilliant!!!!
It's so rare to find a really good Naru/Sasu story with a plot that doesn't eventually turn into a bunch sex scenes with no regard given to the reality of the story...
Looking forward to reading the sequel!! :D

Naruto hesitated and the demon reached out and pulled back the hair that was hiding the pale face. It leaned over and nuzzled the strands. "By the way, Naruto, thank you for my present," it said with a smug purr.
-*squeeeeeee* Go Kyuubi! Bend Orochimaru to your will! Woo!
He vaguely thought it was redundant to yell out what they were currently doing, but that was his dobe. Truthfully, he didn't give a shit what the other teen yelled out as long as it wasn't someone else's name.
-LMAO! Exactly! So long as he's not yelling someone else's name, we're ALL good.
What they needed was a strong warrior. A shinobi powerful enough to stand up against the snake and defeat him. A hero that would save their people.
-Holding out for a hero til the end of the night...! (progress: chapter 29 so far)

I. Don't know. Where to start. For the past 4 days I have been reading the non stop. I kid you not. I just don't know what to say besides just stare gaping at the screen in amazement. Seriously. You've done two things which I have wanted to do for such a long time. One, you belted out a 73 chapter story that is most certainly loved by SOOOO many people (myself included) and two, somehow, upon reading this, its helped my ability as a writer. (more specifically, you write simple things (such as washing dishes or mundane things) in an interesting way that doesn't hinder the plot line)AS well as make me itch to work on my own idea I had involving these two, which with your sequel planned, I'd like to run by you sometime, so if I ever did get around to it, that it wouldn't appear as though I'm copying yours (i typed up the basics about a year ago and shared with a few people whom seemed to like it but I've furthered some of the side plots since then).
Also, I'm rather glad I got to read all of this without having to wait for updates (*flails* I get ancy waiting, hehe just like for B&B). Though, I do wish I had been there from the beginning to give a more comprehensive review on each chapter as they came out. I'm really excited for the sequel, which I know I'll follow relentlessly.
As for specifics in this story that stand out to me. One, their in characterness just on the whole. You stayed true and even further evoloved their personalities while sticking close to Kishi's characters and it's BELIEVEABLE. Plus you had them switch, and neither lost their masculinity. You've just reaffirimed my belief that these two BELONG with each other and no one else. From what I can tell we both share the same insights on many different things reguarding Sasuke, Naruto and Itachi. (it's scary sometimes, cause I was reading thinking, "omg, that's EXACTLY what I've been trying to tell people.") Seriously, can I have your "art" babies? XD <3 I seriously don't know what else to say without getting all teary eyed. I've loved NaruSasuNaru since I first laid eyes on Sasuke in the series (heh, as if you didn't know how much of a Sasuke lover I am (i wont say fangirl, cause those girls creep ME out XD) and I think this held true to them and everyone that was included.
*exasperates* I wish I could explain everything that went though by brain but I'm still sitting here going "wow". (and am slightly envious because I know I don't have the patients to do something this in depth ><) But... just wow. XD I could go on and on about everything I loved in this, and how wonderful of a writer you are! (though I do believe I've stated my adoration for you elseware ^////^)
But... *gets a tissue* Though all the emotional roller coastering of this fic, I can just definatly say its wonderfull, and I know I'll never forget it, hell, I'll probably come back and read though it again!
*scratches head* yeah... I think I've repeated myself more than enough times >>; I really did enjoy this, so very much, and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel as well as anything else you submit here and on y! (and I look forward to your reply when you can get to it, here, or on y, if not, in email form (though you'd have to inform me on y! as I have a excellent spam blocker that tends to filter out anything NOT on my contact list)) But with that! I shall shut up and go work on the drabbles I should have been getting done this whole time >>
*runs off* >> NaruSasuNaru 4EVA! *poofs* XD

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.
Now that that's out of the way, I'll get to work on explaining just what your story did to me.
First, I'd like to state that I've been reading your stuff on y!gallery, and that it was actually a fanart for this story that finally got me to read it. I'm glad I chose to. For the past three or four days, I have been reading this in all my spare time, from start to finish, and just about ten minutes ago, I finished.
I'm honestly shocked to hear there will be a sequel after all of that, but am in no way upset about it. I honestly can't wait, and in the meantime, I'll be hovering over your other works, as well.
Now about the story itself... I could describe it with all the words that rave reviewers on movie advertisements do and more. From the first chapter I could barely stop reading for the sake of sleep and a headache from staring at the screen so long. Compelling from the first chapter, it dragged me in and didn't let me go. There were times that it had me on the edge of my seat even though I didn't have to wait between chapters, since it was already finished when I found it.
The sex wasn't trashy, but an extremely passionate mix of words and emotions that really gripped me. I could practically feel the emotions radiating off the screen and into my chest. I read with baited breath through each twist and turn of the plot, teeth clenching with each unexpected and earth shattering event. My heart wrenched each time the two were torn from each other by one thing or another, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the first eye transplant and how much it tore Sasuke apart left me feeling the dread in the pit of my stomach. I felt an ache deep in my chest at Kyuubi's broken heart. There were just so many emotions in this that I can't even properly express how each and every one of them touched me.
The family dynamics and the rough and gentle possessiveness toward the end just tore me down and built me right back up again. Your characterizations had such depth to them that it drilled right down to my core. It felt like I was reading a thrilling suspense and romance novel right off the shelves, and not a trashy one, either. Everything was so intense, so riveting that I can't imagine what I'm going to do with myself for the next couple of days while I wind down from this.
As a fellow writer, this is something I would aspire toward, but feel helplessly short of. It's not often I leave reviews, but it's also not often that something touches me as deeply as this fic did and compels me to express how thoroughly I enjoyed it.
Honest to God, you should be writing novels, but I'm thrilled to have such talent churning out works of art into the oft bland jumble of Naruto fanfictions out there. Your other works have hooked me just as well as this one did, too, and I'd like to take this opportunity to simply thank you for gracing us all with your incredible gift with words. You're an example that I hope someday to possible live up to. I honestly can't even think of the words to describe how moved I was by this, and I feel as if I'm starting to get redundant, so I'll just leave it at that.
Can't wait for the sequel to see how everyone fares!
