My god, what an awesome story. I can't begin to squeal enough. I recall first finding your story when it was in the forty chapter range, but then losing it... Only to find it again now! The work you have put into this is well worth it and I can't thank you enough for sharing it, expect more fan art eventually, I'll give you a link when it's more than just sketchy scribbles

The Sound of Dreams is a classic in the Naruto fandom. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It's an incredible read and it's nice to be able to come back years later and find it's still here for us to enjoy ;-)l Thank you! You're a very talented writer and this is always a great read <3.

I just finished your story and it was AWESOME! It sucked me right in and kept me glued. I was even thinking about it when I wasn't reading it. I have recently started reading in this fandom and yours will always be on my top 3 list. Thank you for the wonderful introduction to this pairing.
I saw that the end that there is supposed to be a sequel to "The Sound of Dreams" called "Dreams of Fire", but I can't seem to find it. Could you tell me where it is? I would love to read it!

Thanks so much!

This is a great story! So many things happening, and the burgeoning relationship between Naruto and Sasuke is very well shown. Is the sequel going to be posted? I'm so looking forward to reading it.

Just a few English tips (I'm sorry, but they annoyed me as a reader):
1. drug is NOT a past tense form of drag, it is a noun meaning the little white things you eat to get a high. The past tense of drag is dragged. Hence 'he drug his lips across (Sasuke's body)' does not grammatically make sense, and even if it did suggests some underhand pharmacological manipulation. Occurs quite a few times in this fic. :)

2. In the scene where Naruto stops a girl from being trampled by a horse, the thing that stops a horse from bolting is a rein, not a reign. A reign is the period of rulership by a ruler, or the act of being a monarch over something. Said the same way, but spelt different. Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine since I like horses and all things equestrian.

I'm really enjoying watching sasuke come to terms with his growing love (horrors!) for naruto. He's a complex and, as you've noted, sometimes contradictory, character. The fact that he hates weakness in others, but can't stand anyone to be stronger than him, is only one of the many things that make him difficult to get along with. You've shown so beautifully how he tries (occasionally) to be not not-mean (not to say "nice"), and how it comes off so badly. Overall, you've done simply a fabulous job with him.
And Naruto...well. I'm in love with him so I'm particularly picky as to how he's portrayed. You've hit the nail on the head. Or rather you've hit the incredibly sexy dobe on the head. When they were defining the terms of their bet, and he said "who said anything about you? I want what you want! To be underneath you etc", that was so perfect! Sasuke is so proud and scared, and Naruto just turns it all on it's head with his humor, passion and courage. He just won't get roped in. One point that struck me was when Sasuke was talking about how he has to be stronger than everyone. Naruto simply says "Nah. You are what you are." !!! That's it in a nutshell! On the other hand, you clearly show how sasuke's treatment of him does still hurt. It's just that that hurt in no way interferes with his commitment. What an amazing lover...
It amazes me how you portray their interactions. How do you come UP with some of this hilarious AND profound stuff? The voice of God(dess) is speaking through you. please keep writing this couple, don't ever stop! LOVE YOU.

oh, I am so glad you are now taking anonymous reviews, cause etc. etc.
But i have so wanted to tell you how much I love your writing and appreciate your gifts to us. Your portrayals of naruto and sasuke are so dead on, they are thrilling all on their own, regardless of the other thoroughly fun aspects of the story. And another thing: though I do appreciate excellent lemons, I don't like most; thus I don't specifically seek out works that are lemony in nature. But honestly, that first little lemon was about the most emotionally sexy, or sexily emotional, thing I've ever read. I'm so glad this is a long story. Just keep on writing!
