that was beautiful. i've never read a more perfect musical metaphor in my life. it was brilliant. god... just beautiful.

however, orochimaru is starting to seriously piss me off. kill the fucker now. NOW!

That was a very wonderful and intense chapter. I have decided that although I love a lot of stories and a lot of writers, you are in fact without a doubt, my favorite. I mean that 100%. I love this story and I love the way you bring so much emotion to a chapter. You have kept everyone so in character that it truely amazing. Honestly, you deserve some type of award. I am not one to leave long reviews because I never know what to say so I will just say this. I am grateful that you are sharing this story with us because in all honesty I feel that it is perfect and it is and will more than likely always be my favorite to read for a very long time. Also. Did you read the latest manga? You are a freak with the accuracy of your predictions and reasonsing. Maybe your really Kishimoto (however his ? name is spelt) and your making money of doing things a silly way, while still making the fans happy by writing it the awesome way.

Yeaa. He finally said it. The "L" word. LOL! Was there crying involved? I wasn't sure if those were tears of pain, joy, love or what! Man, what a fucked up relationship they have (to kill or not to kill), yet they are sooo perfect for each other it is scary (yet so hot). *sigh* I wish they really would fall in love in the anime. I guess they do love each other but it is in a brotherly way. To bad. I guess that is what fanfiction is for. Wheeeee! It looks like the story is about to take a turn with Naruto entourage in full force and Orochimaru sneakin' around with his bad self. I'm sure Sai is going to stir up some trouble to. The part where Naruto said I love you was sooo sweet! The sex scene was truly intense XD

thx for the well wishes on my c-section. i can't believe it's less than a week away; i'll only have a chance for one more of your updates before i go in!! anyway, on to the review: awwww narutoooooo!! i feel like i'm gonna cry. that WAS intense. all of it. it makes me sad he still can't tell sasuke for real, but i know it'd still freak him out *sigh* jeez, i love how you did sasuke's conflicting thoughts. his own contradicting "ideals" (old ones and the new naruto-influenced ones) fighting with each other, brought to the surface of his mind by oro's stupid butting in influence (which was scary by the way, does not bode well for the future of his containment methinks *eep*) kyaa and then the fact he had enough presence of mind through the curse seal and the pain to know he didn't want to rape naruto if he could help it; i was glad for that. and the sexual description was wonderful. so... carnal but beautiful still with the musical imagery and the picture of sasuke's curse seal flames added to that too. after all that, it's still such a wild confusing situation. i wonder what will happen when sasuke wakes up *bites nails*

I can't believe you wrote that in, in your comments, I'm so embarrassed, but it is - It is perfect. From the playful banter at the beginning that you are so very good at to the warmth and fuzziness, yes I found WAFF:
"As long as you want me, I will only be yours," he quietly reassured him. He then gave a lopsided smile. "And I think I've already proven that even if you say you don't want me, I'm still yours."
So Sweet, it pulls at my heart. Then you scared me, I mean that, really scared me, when Orochimaru came out to play. That was supposed to be the safest place in the world - wrapped in Naruto's arms and surrounded by allied ninja. It's heart-breaking that is isn't, that it can't be... yet.
After that the chapter just turns into this roiling, roller coaster of emotions. Sasuke's confusion is really well written, all the contrasts literally on top of each other. Then the "fight" and how Sasuke realised he was so close to hurting his most important person. I love that he fought and struggled not to. I also loved that you put in the little bit when Sasuke called him a scaredy cat. That phrase has so many memories tied up in it between the two of them, and it was a beautiful way to tie in the series.
And the sex - Gah! The musical metaphors - It was freaking poetic! Yet still Really Hott. Then he confessed, and my heart swelled. This was masterful, I feel like the instrument, I feel Played - I'm baffled. This is by far my favourite chapter, as of yet. You're amazing, and I agree with the guy from your comments, Kishimoto should be jealous.
