i'm just glad you're still doing the story. it's too good of a gem to let go. but by all means do what's necessary, as long as it works out.

I'm glad you're picking this one up again. Frankly, it's my favorite of all your pieces, b/c I think it's different and goes well with the characters' canon personalities. This story is coupled perfectly with Naruto's obliviousness and the other characters' sophistication with social cues. The whole "reading between the lines" parts are the best--it takes a lot of knowledge and creativity to be able to take this story on and you have that. There's no way I could have written this nearly as well as you could. I look forward to whatever you come up with. Frankly, I would be interested in how the dictionary interprets Sai; sometimes in the manga, he seems to be more naive that Naruto. I'm excited!

Aww poor Naruto! *sobs* I really really like this story and I'm just dying to see what happens next!! Such an imaginitive plot deserves to be praised! Please update soon...and continue the great work:)

Hmm, i read the summary and laughed. However, again you surprise me! Ill have to learn to read the author before deciding on reading something. I really enjoy your writing style, and your ideas never cease to suck me in! Needless to say, ill be looking out for updates on your stories!

Please...please...please update soon. It has been a long while since a fanfic has captured me in such a way. The story is creative and amusing, but in all honesty the second chapter brought tears to my eyes. [dabs with tissue and blows nose] It had a warm touch and something that just hit the right mark. Please continue to update since I like many will eagerly wait. Thank you for the wonderful chapter.

If you think it really just wasn't working for you, you being the author...and all, then you should most definately rewrite it, you are the one writing the story so it should come out as you see fit, especially if it was to the point where you wouldn't have been able to continue the story with out changing that one chapter, better to get rid of a piece of the story rather than the whole story. :)
