Aw, I think that's kind of sweet of Sasuke to have a best friends necklace thing. I actually still have a few of those from elementary school. I've kept them all this time, even though I haven't seen some of those friends in a very long time. Not just necklaces, but bracelets too. Can't wait to see what kinds of translations the dictionary have to offer next chapter. And I hope Naruto won't get into any bad situations with the obviously pervert neji.

8D I'm still on a little bit of a giggle/happy-high from Sasuke's blushing and the ADORABLE "best friends" (Sasuke has the "best" one. how Sasuke of him. :P) necklaces, but I'll try to leave a coherent review. :D
Naruto smiling into the mirror at the beginging was very cute and fun to read. He even got a little angsty (just for a second) and that was also fun to read (for us angst-lovers at least). I prefer my angst short - most of the time - so it was doubley good for me.
Naruto's outfit... okay, I really have a thing for cargo pants that dip down and show off the boxers a little, so it was completely hot to me. :D (I'm sure Sasuke and Neji had similar thoughts. xD)
I loved Naruto's musings on the possible side-effects of wearing the neclace in public. Really, it's fantastic when characters are written actually thinking about others feelings in a logical way. (Of course, in the end, Naruto delt with it in typical Naruto fashion; a possitive attitude of believing he could deal with whatever came his way - and not brooding. [I'm looking at you, Sasuke.])
The writing transition from Naruto leaving in the morning to him coming back to his apartment and thinking about his strange day, while not confusing in the least, wasn't entirely smooth. It somehow made the two parts of the chapter seem very distant from one another to go from morning to evening. It left me suddenly feeling like I'd missed something; however, that was rectified as I kept reading. It just put me off for a second.
Okay, that's my constructive (I hope?) criticism for the day; on to the rest!
Sakura... Sakura is annoying in this. (Geh! Stop pestering Naruto!) ^_^; I'm guessing that was intentional though?
I was with Naruto on Sasuke not mentioning the necklace. You had me completely strung along. (Kudos.) I felt like I was having a realization right alongside him when I read "Sasuke didn’t know Naruto knew." and the resulting train of thought.
OMG I love reading the lines about his chest feeling warm and constricted and him being happy, because it makes me feel warm and constricted and happy, and I get into the story even more! *^.^* (I'm such a sap--and apparently very empathetic to fictional characters. o_O)
Neji. Oh, when he showed up, I laughed like a sadist, because surely there would be some..."tension" between him and Sasuke. I was not dissapointed. XD
Frankly, I think anyone might need a magical dictionary to know what was really going on when those two speak to eachother. ^^;;; Really, they can never just out and say anthying...
It's so much fun to read Naruto's reactions to what they were really saying. I have to wonder how long it will take him to realize Sasuke's hostility towards Neji is a little more than a friend's protectivness... (But that's up to you, as the author, now isn't it? ;D [damn you and your author powers DX])
Then they start talking about jewelry -and "kunais". *snicker* "Kunais". God, Neji really is a pervy one. LOL (Also, Neji needs to lean that higher monentary value in a gift does NOT equate to it being valued more by the person who recieved it. Tsk, tsk.)
When Sauke said this (I mean, you know - when the dictionary translated it):
"Come on to Naruto, touch Naruto, even breathe the same air as Naruto, and I’ll have you castrated by your own kunai."
It made me so happy. Kind of odd, I know. It was just so possesive. :D Like, he obviously cares greatly for Naruto - in that icy bastard way of his. ...Which is blatanly obvious to a naruxsasuxnaru fan reading a naru/sasu (or sasu/naru? naru/sasu/naru?) story, but it's still very nice to read. ^_^
And then, later, Sasuke comes to --APPOLOGIZE!? :D Pinch me now cause I must be dreaming -or else it's the appocolypse. ...Or else Sasuke is in love with Naruto and can't stand the thought that Naruto might be upset with him for being..."less than courteous" to one of Naruto's friends. Yeah...maybe that last one, eh? xD
I now have a very uke image of Sasuke blushing stuck in my mind. Not a bad thought to fall asleep on, if you ask me. :3
Oh, and the way you presented that last part:
"The moonlight from his window fell across his bare chest and the necklaces, gleaming off their silver charms.

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! FInally!!! I want a dictionary like that... its great!!! and they are so cute...and so true with their little innuendoes and stuff... more please???
