I have to say that I was a little skeptical when I started to read this story. I don't normally like complete AUs and the way Naruto and Sasuke spoke in the beginning really turned me off to continueing. Not to mention the fact that the story opened to a scene with a dead dog (hugs all four or her dogs really tight).
However I sensed potential (and saw all the reviews you have) so I continued to read and I am truly glad that I did. Some parts are a little confusing by I am assuming that they will be clarified as time goes on.
I really enjoyed seeing Sasuke and Naruto interact as kids and how possessive Sasuke got with Naruto. It was cute and absolutely no offense it made me really anxious to get to their adulthood to the point that I skipped huge chunks. This of course forced me to have to go back and re-read since I didn't understand what was going on.
You have a pretty good writing style, if a bit unpolished, but I have no room to complain because mine is even a little rougher. I will say that holding a story hostage for reviews is the work of an evil genius but so unfair to those who do review. So here is a nice, three paragraph long review that I hope will entice you and make up for at least some non-reviewers.

I am so glad you updated. I wonder what Naruto's decision will be. I can't wait for the next chapter. Hope you update soon. Ja ne ^__^

p.s. it is totally obvious that Itachi killed his parents. But i wonder what reason it was this time?

Great to see this fic updated again! I miss this angsty feel.....and that this will be the last part where there's chibi Naruto and Sasuke. But all the for the best to see what they will be like in the coming future. It was very emotional to read the part where Sasuke wanted Naruto to say his goodbye. And poor Naruto to get a confession from Tsunade...even though it's for selfish reasons, I can understand a 'mother's love'. Well...keep it up with the fic! Even though if you don't get 20+ reviews, I still think that if you enjoy writing this story, you should write for yourself. Not depending on others' pov and reviews to motivate. Please don't take offense. As an artist myself, I enjoy painting fanart and enjoy making people happy. Yes, I love getting reviews, but I don't need comments in order to draw. I wish you all the best in your writing. I look forward in reading more. :)

I like this story!!

I really like this fic, and I'm so glad that I started reading it. It's so cute and fluffy yet sad and angsty. And I also like the way you write, you make the text come alive in a way. I totally cried at some points while reading these chapters, it really touched me.
So keep up with the good work and good luck with the writing. I can't wait to see how Naruto and Sasuke's relationship will develope when they're older, and who will adopt Naruto, as well as if Itachi's really innocent or not. I hope that Itachi is innocent since I like him that way ;P

this is such a beautiful story! i'm glad you took several chapters to enlighten us about sasunaru's relationship at the orphanage, and that thing with kyuubi was quite a shock. is it like the manga where his father sealed it in him? where did it come from?

anyway, look forward to seeing what you do with the time skip; probably will be as phenomenal as the beginning.

While I do think the way you are going about getting reviews is off putting, I am reviewing because I like this story and would like you to continue writing it and posting it. I think you write Sasuke and Naruto very well as children, there is evidence of this in your other story, My Little Uke. It was interesting to see Sasuke's personality change once his brother was proven innocent (I'm not so sure he is) He seemed to take on Naruto's obliviousness when it came to Itachi. I wonder how much he will change and how much he will forget about his time in the orphanage while under Itachi's care for the next ten years. I think your Sasuke was an little too possessive of Naruto but since Naruto didn't notice or care much, it balanced out. I find your Tsunade to be a lot more selfish than the manga Tsunade but if she had been given Naruto as a baby right after she lost her Dan and her brother, I think she would have been the same way. As soon as Iruka was introduced, I knew that he would want Naruto and as much as I feel for Tsunade, I don't think she is doing what's best for Naruto so much as what's best for Tsunade. So I hope that Naruto chooses Iruka and Kakashi. And if he does, I hope we get some flashbacks of his upbringing with them, I always think that when Kakashi is a parent it is always a laugh. So I hope you get the response you want in order to update, I will be looking forward to it.

YAY!!! Loving this so far...so I dont leave any constructive critisism but thats because I cant think of anyways to change it to make it better!! I love how you've made Naruto/ Kyuubi... will we ever find out when Kyuubi first appeared or the things Naruto has done to make the others hate him?
