That's a crappy way to end the chapter, evil cliffie you added in there. Who's come after them, and will this mess up their future plans any? I almost hope that it does, but it makes me wonder what would happen later on if it did.
Anyways, I hated and loved this chapter. Seeing Neji and Naruto interact together as new parents with their son. It was sweet. But the knowledge of what comes later and then the little mentions of it was just depressing. It's sad to think that this family that loves each other so much, the man who loves his partner and his son so much has to give them up. But I hope that Naruto and Neji can succeed in that little 'oath', that they'll manage to change things. So even if they must be apart in the beginning, they might/will be together eventually. And that Neji will get to be with his son, not just as a good friend of his 'mother', but as his father.
I find I almost wish that they could tell Tsunade the whole truth of the situation and that she'd let them go on a really really long term mission, but I doubt the Hyuuga clan would love their pride and joy, or maybe just pride, being gone for that long. *sigh* This story, I can't wait for next week and your next update. Especially to see what happens after this cliffie.
BTW I almost wish you'd included a breastfeeding scene. That could have been interesting :) Oh well

Oh my gosh! I read this and tears came to my eyes. This is THE BEST NarutoXNeji Fanfictions I have EVER read. I just so happened to check up on it by clicking on the link in my favorites and low and behold and update! ^O^ Sweeeet!
I was really hoping for Takashi to have blonde hair or at least a dirty blonde a mixture but hey, can't be picky. ^__^ But Takashi is kawaii~ and Neji is already a wonderful father! Hmmm...I am concerned about them going back to Konoha and what happened between Sasuke and Naruto. But other than that keep the chapters coming!

You have to keep going on this, it's really wonderful. What did Itachi want with Naruto so long ago? Will he be back? What will happen when they go back to Leaf? Can't wait to see what happens next.

Oh so sweet! I'm loving Neji and his son. The love Neji has for Naruto. Looking forward to what will happen when they get back to the village. I'm enjoying your story very much.

A new chapter so soon? Your making me a very happy camper here:D And Naruto finally got to meet his son.
I wonder what's they're going to do about Takashi's looks. If he really looks like Neji then that might cause some suspicion, might give them away a bit (at least to some maybe). It would be nice if they could stay in the village they're in. They really seem happy there. It's too bad that hokage couldn't make it a loooooooooong long term mission, and they could come back when Takashi was an adult.
*sigh* My brain is feeling so fried at the moment. I want to be organized and I want to write more but it's all escaping me. So I'll try to wrap it up and please forgive me for disjointed sentences and thoughts and such.
I'm glad to see that Neji got to spend time with the baby. It was almost nice that Naruto was out so long. Gave Neji time to really bond with his son, especially given that he likely might not get to spend much time with him in the future.
You know, if Neji and Naruto can't be together the way they want (though I'm still hoping and crossing my fingers) they could just pass each other off as best best friends. The mission made them really close and Naruto could use Neji as a convenient baby sitter. Though the preferable situation would definitely be for them to be able to be together as a family. And maybe they could have more kids, ooooooooo.....
I'm still wanting to see more of Naruto's interaction with the baby. And I find I'm still wondering about the breastfeeding thing. Does Naruto's female body have a sort of state memory. Meaning although he changed back to his male form would his female form remember that he was pregnant and just gave birth and still be able to breastfeed? Or does it kind of renew itself each time he switches back. But then if that was true wouldn't the baby have disappeared during the body flickers...... I think I'm thinking too much. I'll stop now
I'll just end my incoherent rambling here before I drive you completely nuts. I hope your next update comes just as quickly as the last few ones. I get very happy every time I see them.
