Favorite lines of the story: (1) the last sentence ("At the very end of it all, when the world had threatened to break their wills -- Sasuke had seen that she would need to hear from his lips, something that Naruto had always known.") because it brings full circle everything that we should've been seeing between the lines in canon; and this, (2) "He pressed his lips together and settled for a sad smile instead. 'How strange… you seem to have developed a knack for making me say more than I want to.'" Because it's one of the first signs of humanity that show how much Sasuke has grown up, that it's not just some game to him, and that he's being sincere. And every intimate scene afterwards simply builds on it.
This one-shot will always be one of my favorites. And this may be the only true Team 7 threesome that I've ever had the joy of reading. And it makes me wonder if I'll ever read another that brings all three of them together quite like this. =)

Oh--this is beautiful, and it broke my heart. I'm crying. I hate writing pointlessly gushing reviews, but this is the best bit of writing for these three I've seen in a long time, and it's killing me. Beautiful, beautiful work, and I'm so glad you wrote it, but I can't stop being so very grateful that this won't happen in the manga. I have nothing to say, really, just--thank you for writing this. I'm going to go eat chocolate and try to put my heart back together now.
