i hardly recognized ibiki in this... but i don't really know much about him anyway, apart from fanon. he reminded me of fanon raidou though =P

anyway, i think this was an interesting take on hayate, damaged shinobi, and one-night stands! there could have been a little more on ibiki actually enjoying the sex, but except for that, i liked how soberly you recounted that drunken night.

I've always adored this story--all your stories really. And kudos for being so successfully "real" with such an odd coupling.

So, this is a rather awkward thing..... but when Hayate is listing their different options for lube he mentions vaseline. Ahem. Did you know vaseline dissolves latex, and therefor dissolves condoms? I know it's really of no consequence, and rather ridiculous to bring this up...... but..... it bothered me. I am part of a STD/HIV prevention organization, and I just taught a prevention class where I went over the subject of proper lubes to use... So! Now you know, don't EVER use vaseline for lube. Ever.

Right, well. I'm going to continue with this lovely story now. Sorry to jump in and sound like a lecturer. But, you know, safety first!

Ibiki is hot, you did a good job of bringing him to life, I like that he shows his sensitive side without breaking character

lol, that was cute. Never saw Hayate as a pervert that slept around, but you really got me thinkin'. xD
&& Ibiki sure did turn out hott in the end. So long as I can picture him without the double chin. Hotties. <3

The ending made this so perefect. And truthfully, as many one night stands as there are - there are also relationships that start out purely physical and build into much more. My husband was a "one night stand. We'vr been married 20 years and have 2 children!

Awesome!!! I love Ibiki fictions!!! This is so sad, but at least it makes me feel a little better to think Hayate was spared a horrible, slow death by dying when on duty. Funny, hot, and sad--wow, that takes talent! More soon, please!

Whoever said that you could make anyone sexy was right. That was great; Hayate was so playful and cute (and sexy), and it made a sweet contrast to Ibiki's gruff(sexy)ness.
