Hello Hestia

I know you'll probably never see this review considering this story is over 10 years old now and you have probably long moved on but I still wanted to let you know the following. I read this back when you were actually writting it, it was this story that intrigued me that lifestyle. I have been been both a Dom and a sub in the past and now a sub for a few years to the same Dom (Who is now my husband). I must say, recently re-reading this story made my heart sing, my mind spin and my nerves pulse. It captures so much of that lifestyle accurately. The way the sub feels, the way one learns, the way the Dom has so much power yet can still love their sub(s). It is all around an amazing story. And you captured so many of the Naruto characters so well too, on a side note.

I keep checking back, praying and hoping that one day this will pick back up. If it never does then it'll be a cherished piece I'll often re-read. If it does, I'd probably cry tears of joy. Till then, I hope all is well with you Hestia, and thank you for writing such a story.

Are you going to continue with this story? It would be a shame to know it just died unfinished...

Dearest Hestia,

I absolutely love this piece of fiction. I started reading it a few years ago, and have read it many times over the last few years as well. Everytime I read it, I feel as if it is the first time reading it again. I love your attention to detail, the way you have given such interesting personalities to each character, the explicitness of your well imagined scenes, and the complexity of the relationships between characters. However, it absolutely breaks my heart that everytime I read D/s Naruto, there has not been a further update to this story. Will you ever add more? I do hope it is not the end of this fic, I hope that you find time and inspiration to continue this story, even though it is so long already. Please, please, please! I'm begging for more of your greatness!!!! You are one of the very few authors that has such extraordinary talent! Everything you have written so far is incredible!

Wahhh, I don't even know where to begin! Your story is nothing short of brilliant, with a side order of genius, Hestia!

This is the second time I have read your fic -- both times was like an epic marathon where I read it all in one go because I was so addicted. The first time I read it though, I was new to the realm of fanfiction and was way too shy to review. That's definitely changed, and I feel bad for not commenting on what an awesome writer you are.

The way you write your characters is enviable. While reading, I felt that I could connect with the characters, because parts of their lives or emotions reflected reality, and none of the characters is simple. Each character has layers; a past which informed their present behaviour and their future. Itachi, for example, I thought was written brilliantly. At first he seemed to be cold and business like, but he developed into a much deeper character when he began to reveal and recognise his insecurities. Kisame too, in the patience he showed in pursuing one person for eight years.

Another of my favourite storylines was the Ibiki/Raidou/Genma combination. When Genma finally lets go of the pain of his relationship with Hayate, his show of vulnerability was completely believable and complemented Raidou's show of strength in being there for his friend. Especially touching was Genma's realisation that perhaps he had been holding Raidou back from moving on, rather than being the hero. His being able to recognise this, and his self-reflection made him seem stronger, despite the fact that he felt guilt for it.

Anyway, I feel I may start rambling, since I love almost ever facet of your story. I love your character pairings, and the way you wrote them all was incredibly unbelievable, hence my addiction to reading.

I admire many of your other stories too, and will continue to read in the future (^_^)
Many thanks for the hours of effort you've put in, hope you understand how much we readers most definitely appreciate it.
