Good news! The next chapter of IYPI should be up by this Saturday! YaY! And in celebration, I want a nice, well rounded, totally fangirly review from you! LoL. Jest kidding.

I stick by what I said on FF.net. I LOVE Kakashi in this chapter. I have no real idea why, either. (decides to blame all the ANBU Kakashi merchandise she owns) I also like how Yondaime so easily jumps into fatherhood with the bright orange crib in his office and pacifier in the mountain of scrolls. I hope your chapters continue to get progressively longer. It's more fun that way.

YaY! You're posting the story here! This gave me the chance to reread the first chapter to see if Obito had died in this story (was too lazy to actually go back and find out after the fic had reached ch. 3, and asking you seemed stoopid and insulting).

Okay i'm hooked. I really like the Yondaime's personality. Naming his son fishcake & not remembering it. lol.
I know kakashi is 16 but how old is the Yondaime?

Hooray! Yondaime and Kakashi. ^_^ I love this pairing, and there's not enough of it. It's so sweet, the way they interact. This is very well written, and fun to read. It feels so peaceful - I guess part of it is the idea that Naruto won't be growing up tortured and ignored. I look forward to the next chapter!

You know...I've noticed that too and I kept asking myself, did I miss when Yondaime's name was given in the manga or anime? Anyway, I did a little looking around and 'arashi' also means 'storm' or tempest' in Japanese which the fans probably use as a play on Naruto's name which is a reference to 'Kamaboko', (a topping used in ramen) and can also mean 'maelstrom'. It's a really cute idea but, yeah...I just like calling him Yondaime.

Anyway, love the story idea and I'm so glad to see Yondaime (and Kakashi, drool) in a fanfic because I don't think I've ever read one with him that's not an AU fic. I love your composition and it's kinda...despondent? (for lack of a better word) ...like it's sad to read but you can't stop. Everything is coming together nicely so far and the story is VERY promising. I haven't read the next chapter yet because I just HAD to stop and review the first one, which I'll need to read again since I'm rushed cuz I'm getting ready to go out now.

I'll get back to you later with a better review though, sorry.

Aww, that's sad about Naruto's mom but I can't wait to see how you develop a family centered Naruto.

I always wonder how the Naruto story would have change has the fourth Hokage lives. I love your story has developed so far. I look forward to reading the next chapter. Take care and god bless.

I love this line, simply because it implies that in the conversation following up to it, Kakashi was speaking to the Hokage with a stubby little finger still jammed up his nose.

As for IYPI (points accusing finger) Dembo has it. I wrote out the next TWO chapters before Christmas (it was supposed to be one chapter, but she decided to cut it in half), and gave them to her to work on...but...yeah. She's been busy with school, and my odd hours mean I'm never online when she is for us to actually discuss it...or in my case, bug her to open the doc in the first place. LoL.

I liiiiked the chaaapter.... I am reviiiiiewing....

Hee hee. A cradle in the Hokage's office. ^_^ Loved the conversation between the Hokages. The way you described the Yondaime's smile made me smile myself. And I am really liking your Yondaime (kind, but resolute!) and your Kakashi (quirky, but sensitive!). Again, great chapter. (Am wondering how long this fic promises to be? Because I think I could read a lot of this.) I look forward to the next update!
