YAY! Another great chapter.
I like Kisame more and more. *g*
Now I look forward to seeing him in the series.
Watched NarutoShippuuden #18 today and after the episode they had this little extra. "A Conversation Among Akatsuki" and it appears Kisame has a problem with the color of his skin.
Just a little info about him that I picked up and wanted to share.

I luv kaisame or however u spell that shark guys name.The mental image of Kiasame hold Naruto on his shoulder was like the final fantsy one where that big black guy is holding that little girl on his shoulder,i couldn't get that out of my head.LOL!I luv long story chapters,the longer they r the more i want to read them.NICE work the story flowed really well and you made everyone develope a personalitly at least particaly based on the Manga.Nice to See not to much oocness.Good job,hope to see more soon!

yaay, you updated. i enjoyed reading the little episode Kisame had with Naruto. This might be the wrong word to describe but i can't think of another, but it is so endearing...yet heartbreaking at the same time. just a little curious, but who is Naruto going to end up with? I was hoping for Itachi, but the way you have been describing Kisame, I think it could be very interesting too. Anyway, good progress to your fic. Hope to see you again soon. =PP

Great chap! Oh man, Sasuke should listen to his subconscious. I hope Naruto doesn't die. Itachi and Kisame should take better care. Poor guy. Anyway great chap. I enjoy this story alot and i'm glad you replied! Update soon.

I absolutely LOVE Kisame and Itachi in this story! Are they going to heal Naruto just enough to get him to their hideout to remove the kyuubi, or are they going to change their minds and try to heal him completely and let him go? Does Sakura hate Naruto, or is she just so obsessed with Sasuke that she'll do anything to get him, even break up their friendship? Love you for writing this! UPDATE!

Poor Naruto!!! So Sakura did something to make Naruto think that Sasuke hated him? That is why he got so depressed and tried to kill himself? This is such a sad story!! Are you going to kill off Naruto? :( You said you hadn't planned any pairings yet, but from what I got from this chapter, Naruto deserves a happy ending with Sasuke. But this is only my hope. Your story is great anyway. :)

YIPPIE! Another chapter by one of my all time fave author! I used to not really like Kisame because, just as you said, one of the main reason it was hard to portray Kisame is because we don't see him do much of anything in the manga. Thanks to this fic, though, I'm now a huge fan of Kisame and Itachi *-*.
I really, really loved the restaurant scene, and one of the reason I really loved it, was because it really, in a sense, portrayed how we as humans can be kind when times call for it. Plus the fact that all the guys thought that Naruto was a 'she' and not a he, was really priceless.
Awesome job with the Sasuke dream sequence. I totally fell in love with this paragraph...
'Naruto smiled up at him again, showing all his teeth in a pale imitation of what Sasuke had quietly dubbed his regular ‘shit eating grin,’ a smile that always meant mischief for some poor soul, a smile that could mean everything and nothing, a smile that could answer a hundred questions and at the same time pose a hundred more right back.
A smile the blonde used when he wanted to hide what he was feeling from everyone, even from himself.
The perfect lie.'
I totally was absolutely floored with the beauty of it. Totally pro and perfect in so many ways.
