The last two chapters have been good. Poor Iruka though, I felt so bad for him when he approached Kakashi in the midddle of the night, you almost have to pity him and the state of mind he's in. The last part of chp.9 was so sad though. The whole point is that Iruka's been alone for so long, and now the only person that's been there for him has raped him, and then his only friend through this tells him he has to be alone again. I don't think Kakashi fully understands the effect those words could have on Iruka. If I were in this situation, I don't think I could help but think that my whole desire to not feel alone brought on all this drama. Hopefully things will look up after they hit rock bottom, which I know is gonna happen as soon as Itachi reappears. Good job!

Poor Iruka, trying to find an excuse as to why Itachi behaves the way he does and he, himself, admits that deep down he knows that Kakashi is right about Itachi. Ah, what to do now...

why must you torture Iruka so, it seems in a lot of the stories I've read recently have been rather harsh on him. although I'm glad you gave him a good friend like Kakashi but I can't help but wonder if having him around won't make Itachi angry and even more difficult to deal with. i like that you're showing Iruka having to deal with his feelings and emotions, too often in stories it seems authors have characters traumitized one minute and fine the next, I like how you're trying to have Iruka deal with everything that's happened to him.

Gah! Poor Iruka wanting to be alone. Unfortunately, its' that way for a lot of rape victims. They isolate themselves away from everyone that cares about them. Great writing on your part to pick that up. Beautiful chapter. I love how Iruka just wants Kakashi to leave, and Kakashi is just watching him.

God, that was so good. I love how Kakashi stays with Iruka no matter what, never giving him his opinion or advice on how to handle the situation. I can tell that he really loves Iruka in a silent way, and that makes the fic just that much better. I almost wanted him to apply the medicines to Iruka myself, but I think you wrote it right. Kakashi won't take that chance with him right now after all he's been through.
^_^ I love that you're updating so regularly. Bravo on a great fic. -waits for more patiently-

Glad to see that Iruka has someone to rely on, even if he doesn't see Kakashi as someone he can confide in yet. Poor Iruka, I really hope Itachi gets his ass kicked for this. I like how you portrayed Kakashi in this chapter. Helpful and just being there for Iruka, not trying to pry into his business. Can't wait for the next chapter, I have to say that I was happy Iruka got some rest in this chapter.

Damn, that was emotionally punishing. I love how you're giving Itachi the 'creepy factor' as it was one of the things that tipped off the Uchiha clan that he was going insane in the manga.
Can't wait for the next update, babe! Great job! -gives five stars-

About you expecting that no one wants to read angsty chapters (even stories in general)... well, I guiltily confess that I'm one of those people who enjoy reading these types of parts. I find that it's nice to find some other emotion than just happiness, life doesn't always have a bright side, eventually it'll get better. Agh, Iruka's sad...
