When I first started reading this my heart just about broke. Kakashi is my favorite. This story just grabbed me by the throat and won't let me go. So well written. Please continue. I gotta go find some tissue.......

Well, the Event is here. Poor Kakashi *hugs Kakashi*
Kakashi seems to trust Iruka. That's good. Does he remember that Iruka bought him once? I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't; after a while, all the men he's been with have probably blurred together. I wonder if he realizes that Kashi is part of his name or if he even cares why Iruka calls him that.
I'm glad Naruto killed the slaver.

See, I had :D!face when I saw there was an update, and it's a good, effective update, because NOW I have the O_Oface, complete with anime "DOHNG" noise.
...oh god-dammit, I kept having a recurring thought-track of "...call in the cavalry, no, wait, they didn't want to do that, oh, FUCK dignity, wait, it's not THEIR dignity, but... ARGH." Then it started over again.
...T_T Mrr. (the face evolves yet again) I have faith in you to tell your story, at the proper pace. Still.
