You know... Now I'm pretty sure I read this and Aurea Mediocritas on ff (hence my inability to review them T_T). This one is really good; simple but still sweet, not to mention IC. I really don't know what to say other than how much I like your shikaneji stories and wish you would write more.

Aw! That was really sweet. If I had to imagine Shikamaru saying that, that would be it! I loved it! You didn't over write it, or slip out of character or anything (it was short, but that has nothing to do with that. I've read soo many stories where they fall out of character and they're like 2-300 word stories)!

wow that's funny...Random passive speach between the two then the attack and then once again words fly. Kind of like Chess, but in its own right a little different.. I love it.
